Does a member of the Ennead or Vengeful Five getting incapacitated trigger card draws from Ammo Drop?
I don't think so, as the relevant cards aren't heading to villain trashes (although clearing things from a Vengeful Five deck might fit that definition), but it's likely to come up in a PBF game I'm running at BGG. Soon, even.
I say yes. In that I mean "Yes I agree with Silverleaf". I just wanted the appearance of disagreement, I'm not sure I could cope with another thread where we all agree.
Effectivly indestructible? You can use those things sure, but it doesn't "destroy" them. But indestructible is a specific game term, so I can see why you called me out on that one.
So, for example, if Omnitron were destroyed, then Bunker would get a draw that might actually matter (if some devices were still in play). I can't think of any other villains where the game doesn't immediately end when they are taken out.
This was supposed to be a question - but isn't phrased as one. So... is the above correct?
the sotm rule book says “when a hero is reduced to 0 or fewer hp, remove all of that hero’s cards from the game, leaving only the hero character card, flipping it over so their incapacitated side is up”. this has been officially amended so that it should be read as “if a hero is destroyed, by either being reduced to 0 hp or otherwise, flip their hero character card and remove all of their cards from the game”.
That looks to me like they aren't actually destroyed since you're told to do something else in the instance when they would have been destroyed.
If I remember well The Chairman was the only villain confirmed to be able to be put under savage mana, witch might indicate he is the only villain that can activate ammo drop.
However, heroes can be completely destroyed in the case of Unforgiving Wasteland - this was confirmed at some point. Anything that gets killed by the environment when that card is out gets removed from play entirely.
Speaking of which, you could have an easy win vs Skinwalker Gloomweaver with Unforgiving Wasteland. The environment could destroy him on his front side and them remove him from the game, thus you win without ever flipping him. They both say "would be destroyed" so by the new order of operations ruling it would be player choice.
