So on apostates card on the dark corruptor side it says destroy a relic and flip his villain card. But on the other side it doesn’t say how much hp he gets
It stays the same as what he was before he flipped.
When he on his flipped side the destroyed relic will prevent him from taking any damage so the HP he has is what it stays at when he flips back to his front.
But it says when hes reduce to 0 or lower
*would be reduced. There’s a difference. If he would be reduced below 0 HP by some action, you flip him instead and ignore whatever damage would have been dealt.
Note that you can completely evade Apostate's flip mechanic if you have any kind of insta-kill effect (Sucker Punch, Wrathful Gaze, Cornered Beast, etc) as his flip mechanic only engages if his hp is reduced to zero or fewer and these aren't reducing his hp but just destroying him outright. I think there's someone else this works with but I can't remember who it is off the top of my head. Doesn't work on Blade though, since his flip mechanic kicks in when he "would be destroyed" :P.
I can totally see Apostate hiding behind his relics in a battered state and then Tachyon dashes behind him without him noticing, and smacks him from behind, delivering the final blow.
Destruction kills Wager Master if "Who are you fighting?!" is out and gets around the "If Wager Master's HP is reduced to 0 or fewer the heroes lose." condition.
