In MigrantP's omnibus rules posting, he states "“Reveal” and “Look at” mean the same thing." But neither of those terms are in the Glossary. So, what is the official definition of "reveal", please?

Reveal's definition is the same as look at.
Unless you've got a link where Christopher gives the official definition of "look at", then that's not helping. :)
When you reveal a card, is it still the top card on the deck or does the unrevealed one beneath it become the top card? If all you're doing is looking at it and replacing it, then how can you "reveal cards until you find XYZ"? That one revealed card will always be the top card of the deck - you'll never get any deeper.
Do you have to show it to everyone or can you keep the information to yourself (I know it's a coop game, but it's a legit question).
I don't have any trouble figuring out what "reveal" means, but if I'm going to put it in the FAQ, I figure there should be a well-reasoned, official answer.
I don't have the exact quote, but I'm sure that MigrantP has said somewhere that revealed cards go into their own special zone, and as such are not considered in the deck while they are revealed. Give me a moment to see if I can dig up the quote.

Migrant P has commented in the past that revealed cards in the app get put into a special revealed card zone until they're put back into the deck or discarded.
We do know that revealing the top card of the deck removes it from the top due to Wraith and Visionary being able to set off Ambuscades traps with their scry cards as well.
So based on Migrant P's details of what happens in the app and the Ambuscade ruling the conclusion is that revealed cards are not on top of the deck anymore and the card underneath becomes the top card.
What you guys are saying makes perfect sense, but I'm going to be a pedant about it anyway. Just because the app has a special zone for revealed cards doesn't mean that's officially how the card game works. I only want to put it in the FAQ if it's officially how the card game works.
correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't your FAQ already have the ambuscade's trap ruling?
All cards that reveal (or look at) either put them on top or bottom of the deck, discard them, or shuffle them back into the deck, the trap ruling already states that cards leave the top of the deck when reveal ed as the trigger condition for the traps is to be the top card of the deck, but revealed cards don't enter play so must exist in a limbo like zone until one of the above things happen to them.
Of course if revealed cards entered play it ups Progeny from a difficulty 4 to a 6.
Works for me. Revealing it makes it briefly not the top card, nice and consistent. Not that my vote counts :)
Per the Ambuscade ruling, the card leaves the deck and the next one becomes the top card of the deck, perhaps briefly.
In the app they enter a "Revealed" location but that's really more of a technical necessity in a computer system.
I'll leave it to Christopher to comment on anything else.
(Variant: when revealing a card, you must stand up, hold it up with pinky finger fully extended, and read all of the text in a 18th century English town crier voice)
