So, I was playing a game against the Dreamer with Dark Visionary, Expatriette, Redeemer Fanatic, O-X and F6 AZ, in the Final Wasteland.
I flipped the Dreamer, and got an idea: So, here I am, holding an End of Days in Fanatic's hand, and End of Days blows up Projections pretty easily. So why don't I let her get a bunch of projections out, and then blow them up that way?
This seemed like a good idea. So I let it happen. Dreamer had 2 projections under her, 7 projections out, and End of Days goes off. Upon which I realized something - End of Days destroys all cards in play. This includes the face down projections under the Dreamer. Including the ones that you just destroyed and put under the Dreamer.
I was not entirely pleased with this realization, until I realized something else - One of the projections out was Illusory Demon. If I destroyed it last, then I could use its kill effect to blow up End of Days before it takes out the face down projections. Also, I get to keep all of the heroes' stuff!
This put me one projection short of waking the Dreamer up, and had me feeling very proud of myself. At least until the Dreamer's next turn, when 6 more projections came out, slaughtering what was left of my team. Oh well.
The moral of this story is that End of Days is amazing against the Dreamer, but you should save it for her front side, or until an Illusory Demon comes out. Or have a Bee Bot handy.
