Once again, I forgot all the witty and insightful comments I was going to make, so I will just say that the piece of Sentinels of Freedom dialogue Adam spoke of was indeed hilarious, and I have been enjoying the game quite a lot. :)

The Thug asking where the tracks are should totally be voiced by Adam if they ever added full voice

The dialogue that got me was The Wrath is talking about the situation and you say “I know there was more going on than it appears” and The Wraith says " I know I saw your cork board you have some… interesting theories about Dad’s burgers and nano surveillance"

Yea! another one of my dumb questions gets read

I seem to recall that in that episode of Sliders with the un-creaky gate, right after they left, a guy came around the side of the house and said something like, "Come look at this, I finally fixed that squeaky hinge on the gate!"

I think you're right - the character (I forgot his name) thought it wasn't his universe and left right before that happened...

The Fright Train dialog was pretty silly, but the whole Adhesivist setup and banter had me cracking up!

Yeah, it was edited out, but while it was recorded the Discord brought that up.

Wasn't there also a Sliders episode where they saw news about O.J. Simpson being on trail for murder and decided that it couldn't be their world?

Pretty sure that was the same one! X-D

The gate was the final test.

I am also curious about the answer to my question

They have a project in the works using the “Todd Leto brand food stuffs” IP?
They have a project in the works using the “Todd Leto brand food stuffs” IP, now that James Ernest is part of the team?!

I'm absolutely terrified at the thought that not only is Todd Leto canon to the Sentinels universe, they've got something planned for him post-Oblivaeon. c.c Will Todd Leto become the food snack-themed supervillain we've always known would one day appear?

They mention that some versions of their characters “will never” see the light of day; I wonder if it was already known that Prime War was doa, or if they were just referring to the original Sentinel Tactics.

The tubes in Adam’s basement; that would be The Series of Tubes, which is the Internet.

Sentinelses of the Multiverses?

I like to think that Parse just skips straight over Chairman and goes straight to Rahazar somehow, because the latter has a very minor side project on Earth which is related to the state of Rook City in a way that the Chairman doesn’t even know.

Do they seriously not have legal access to the term supervillain? That has to have been a other of their jokes, right?

My work on adapting the Sentinels Live RPG characters to create SOTM-EE decks for them has made significant use of the idea that Sentinel Comics buys other comic publishers and folds them into the continuity. Both Dynamo and Violet Heart in Season 1 are major examples of that.

Enthusiaception. It doesn’t work super well for me, but C&A aren’t the only creative team that I have seen it work miracles for. I’m bitterly envious. Like Thad Sivana in the Shazam film. I only wish I had Mark Strong portraying me.

Nope. DC and Marvel hold a joint trademark for both superhero and supervillain. You’ll note that none of the Sentinel Comics products include either word; SotM only has generic heroes and villains, and bills itself as a “Comic Book Card Game,” not a “Superhero Card Game.” Make of that what you will.

I wonder if that spectacularly boneheaded court decision has anything to do with the fact that there kind of aren’t any third-place comic publishers out there. Anybody know what year this happened? I’m going through comics from 1984, and some titles that aren’t from Marvel or DC are surprisingly good.

Apparently it was 1966, but just a year ago they lost that trademark. :hushed:

Oh good, Paul should immediately file a new counter-trademark that establishes the right to refer to America’s Finest Legacy as a superhero.
