So in freedom towers environment the card forced entry point is played on a room. So if you destroy the room it is on the forced entry will also be destroyed. Is this correct or if it isn’t please correct me
Entry Point will not be destroyed.
Ok thank you. I was assuming since you played it on another card it acted like a leech
We came to a different conclusion in my play group. We took the sentence "If there are no Room cards in play, reshuffle this card into the Environment deck and play the top card of the Environment deck." to be a constant effect, which took effect when the Room was destroyed. (When the question came up, the Entry-Pointed Rooom was the only one in play. Considering the case of multiple Rooms in play makes me more dubious about that conclusion...)
The sentence is not a seperate constant effect. It is a conditional part of the "Play this on a room" action, because there nessesarily needs to be instructions of how you play that card "on a room" when there are no room cards.
Isn't the Room card (the one covered by the Entry Point) considered to basically not exist whilst covered? Or is it just that it has no text (and could thus presumably still be destroyed by "Destroy an environment card" effects)? I've not played in the Freedom Tower for a while so I can't remember.
The room that is covered is still
from the deck which we call 'vironmental
But is it still a room?
Though the text was consumed
So one room can be home to them all?
Entry Point removes the "game text" of the card. As was addressed in a different thread, when Guise's Uh, Yeah, I'm that Guy refers to game text, it is only referring to the text box, and doesn't refer to the type line. By this logic, the room under Entry Point would still be a room, and multiple Entry Points could be played on one room. Of course, generally cards under other cards are considered to have no text or types. I suspect that this is the case here, in which case I think the wording of the card is ambigous.
Regardless, the room card is still an environment card, and would be destructible by environment destruction.
I have to disagee. Cards under cards are considered out of play and cannot be chosen as the targets of any effects. Since the Room is hidden, it cannot be destroyed.
Ruling otherwise allows cards under Sudden Mana or La Capitan to be targetted again and destroyed, with ambiguous results. How the cards got under other cards is irrelevant. They are hidden, so not in play, even if still on the playing field. Cards under Sudden Mana are destroyed, but on the playing field and out of play. They are destroyed a second time when Sudden Mana's Power is used, so there is there is precedent to allow them to be destroyed again by another effect.
The only consistent resolution to all three effects is for all cards hidden under other cards to not be targetted by any effect. You can't hit what you can't see.
Not true.
Cards under cards are have no text but are still Hero/Villain/Environment cards. If you play a card that destroys an Villain card (as opposed to an Ongoing card) you could target one under e.g. Savage Mana.

Waat Matchstickman said ;). There's plenty of precedent, such as Freedom Six Tempest being able to destroy cards belonging to him which La Capitan has stolen, and the possibility of causing a Game Over by destroying the Countdown pile before destroying Self Detruct Sequence.
End of days will clear cards under cap, and adept can destroy one with dissonant.
That too...presumably Sarabande would work as well, as that only requires an environment card, therefore any would work even if it was beneath another card ;).
Though environment cards can't get under Cap... You could hit something under Savage Mana if you don't like your Haka player, or in the Self-Destruct countdown pile if you hate your whole team :P
I can see wanting to get a Meteor Storm out from under the Countdown, if both were under, and you had a sufficiently perverse, er, cunning plan.
Self-Destruct Countdown + Dominion + Terraforming = extra card draws, if you're careful!
And this could go bad if you're wrong
and misorder the death of the throng
if you let the countdown go last
then your hope will be past
and the game will be over ere long
Basically, you can destroy the cards under Self-Destruct Countdown before you destroy the countdown itself, but if you do then you will lose when the countdown notices that it's pile is empty and blows up.
It's even worse if you're destroying the environment using Terraforming, because even if you don't blow up (say you noticed at the last second, and destroyed the countdown before its last card), then Omnitron will play a card for every card it destroyed. If you destroy the countdown first then it's not a problem because it wasn't terraforming that destroyed the other cards, it was the countdown. But if you go the other way, then watch out!
