Fun game type. Playing in a vacuum.

I mentioned in my tournament thread about playing a game without the ability to speak or share card information with your team mates.

With the flavor of this game just oozing out everywhere I feel that it can be justified. Playing in space, locked in a vacuum tube, vocal chord freezing…

The rules? You can use gestures and point to targets. You cannot show cards at all (if you place a card face up on the table sorry that is your play for the turn). You cannot ask for help in choosing you targets for effects. You cannot say what you are going to do…basically it is a huge handicap for the heroes to overcome by knowing how their team should act and playing in a way that your team would expect you too.

Don’t get me wrong here I greatly appreciate the social aspect of this game. I think it might be fun to play this way as well as a special type of challenge for more experienced players.

I actually had this idea when watching an episode of Young Justice, Artemis and Zatanna were fighting together, not saying a word or even appearing to communicate at all with each other, never having appeared to fight together, yet they were really good fighting with each other and playing off the other’s move.
