Just thought it was worth reporting. My buddy and I were playing a game the other night, and I played Rogue Agent Knyfe. We started talking about various combos while we played. After the game was over, we decided to try out a comp that worked really well.
SS Tachyon, Rogue Agent KNYFE, O-X, and Kvothe AA.
The idea is, everyone just uses their powers to play Tachyon's deck. Additionally, AA can use Vernal Sonata to put back Lightspeed Barrages that might end up getitng played at inopportune times. It worked about as well as expected (VERY WELL). We couldn't decide whether to call the comp "World's Fastest Tachyon" or "Everyone plays Tachyon's Deck". Regardless, it went VERY well.
So, does anybody else out there have some particularly fun/broken comps?
My favorite is Legacy, Tempest, Scholar, Expat. Although the key is Tempest->Scholar.
Get 2 reclaims, and 2 DDA (one of each can be in the trash).
Then you cycle them, reclaim to put a card on top, DDA to put those into play, as long as Scholar and Tempest keep putting their second copy on top you do it every round.
Take Down and Unload played out of turn each round is wicked, but any hero with great one-shots works. Adept can get really crazy with flare and shadow, but mostly it gets impossible to figure out what is going on.
Unity's automated Golem construction system is spectacularly broken.
If you have both copies of DDA available you can cycle them alone without needing Tempest to put a copy to the top of your deck. It means you can't do much else but it's still fun :D.
Yeah, but doing both lets you put a card from each other hero's trash into play without costing them any of their turn, it goes on top of their deck with reclaim and into play with DDA, we had Expat use 3 Unloads in one round, it was absurd.
We had Tempest with two copies of Reclaim in hand at once and Tachyon with both Lightspeed Barrages. Tempest spent the whole game Reclaiming Reclaim from the Deep from the deep, allowing Tachyon to keep playing Lightspeed Barrages every round. Meanwhile, Haka spent the rest of the game Ground Pounding until Tachyon had killed everything.
