Hey, do y’all remember way back in the Gloomweaver episode of The Letters Page, Adam jokingly started singing a little ditty about everyone’s favourite Demon-God at the beginning of the Questions Section? Well, I thought that it’s a shame that that little snippet of song was never made into something more, so I decided to do just that. Below is my extended version of that Gloomweaver song.
Disclaimer: I am definitely no kind of musically-talented person, and I have no professional experience with music. I cannot guarantee that this will meet any minimum level of quality, as some of these rhymes are quite forced. I’m just doing this for fun. ; )
Now, with no further ado . . .
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He has a flaming head
And he raises the dead
He has a crocodile tail
And of magic he has every detail
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He’s trapped in the Realm of Discord
If he get’s out he’ll be our overlord
He has Joe Diamond’s soul
And a head that looks like a skull
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He’s the Nightmare Walker
If you meet him, it’s a real shocker
He has a nemesis, Nightmist
Who he wants to crush under his fist
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He’s tryin’ to enter reality
And if he does, it’ll be a real calamity
He’s a Demon-God Incarnate
And we’ll all be dead, at this rate
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He resurrected Spite
But that didn’t turn out quite right
He was a Skinwalker
And he’s quite the talker
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He became a Rotting God
To that, Lifeline said, “Oh, sod.”
He leads that Cult of Gloom
They’re all tryin’ to usher in our doom
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He’s got the Drum of Despair
In the Realm of Discord, he sits in his chair
He has a Grimoire of Curses
Ya see, he’s got magic from so many sources
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He has a Pouch of Bones
He causes screams of so many tones
His Cursed Acolyte, some say
Is a man called Ronway
Gloomweaver
He’s a doom-weaver
He has a familiar
Ophidia the Deceiver
He can do magic through a Voodoo Pin
You Heroes better make sure that he doesn’t win
'Cause . . . he’s . . . GLOOMWEAVER!
