This is pretty much exactly how I play Fanatic as well. The only difference being I play her a little more conservatilvy, since I do not seem to have the luck finding her armor as much as I'd like, and theres only 1 Retribution to find. My preference for a more conservative Fanatic is the reason why I love the Redeemer promo so much, as Emboldening yourself with Absolution in play and her base power allow me find her game changers much more consistently (if at the cost of some raw damage).
Redacted is definitely AA, I think. And prior to reading this, I played Fanatic conservatively, but after....Well. It is a lot more fun now, imo.
I played Fanatic last night to good effect, although I didn't really follow this advice. I was not especially conservative, but I didn't go crazy either. Absolution came out on turn 1, so I didn't Exorcise until very late in the game when I Emboldened myself...I always prefer to Embolden others if possible. I had a lot of little plinking cards which I played every turn, and I completely ignored Zealous Offense because we were playing against Plague Rat (there were Environment targets, but why bother). Consecrated Ground is great. No Aegis, no Wrath, no Martyr, no End of Days. I rather liked the version of her I was getting this time. Usually I'm not so lucky.
Absolution games tend to go that way. I tend to not get Absolution much, so I don't get many of those games.
I love Fanatic vs. Plague Rat advanced, I'm always begging for that first infection and then lobbying to keep plague locust in play. Really, who needs HP when you can deal damage.
I love fanatic against Apostate. While everyone else is beating on Relics, Fanatic is like .... well... i wont do any damage cause of the DR 1 to the relics so.... APOSTATE FACE ME!!!

Fanatic vs Apostate is one of my favorites. Since they tend to do multiple types of damage, the added damage feels like they're really wailing on each other. I don't play Fanatic often, but when I do it's against Apostate.
