Impossible Knowledge

Hi all,

I have a player in my campaign with the Impossible Knowledge red ability (from Psychic powers), which allows changing penalties into bonuses.

It’s not immediately apparent how many penalties can be changed to bonuses each round - if it were limited to one, I’d expect it to say so, but last session he used it to change almost a dozen penalties into corresponding bonuses.

Does anybody know what the intent of this ability is?

The use of the singular implies to me that you are changing any one penalty into a corresponding bonus.

I’ll concur that it’s just a single penalty into a bonus. If it were meant to do multiple ones then it would say penalties.

Thanks both - that’s what I figured after last session, but it’s always nice to get other opinions. I wouldn’t have minded it doing multiple if here was some limit on it…
