In search of the perfect hp tracker

My quest for the perfect SotM game accessories continues, this time with an attempt to make an improved hp tracker that's suitable for minions, environment targets, etc.  To that end, I've added a page to my SotM site with which you can assemble up to 20 slightly-larger-than-quarter-sized hp tracker spinners.

The numbers on each one goes 1 to 10, so targets with more hp than that will need to use multiple spinners, but they're small enough so that using multiples shouldn't be a big deal.  I think these might be a better solution than using dice (which is what I've always used) because they're more portable and no matter how many times your cat jumps right in the middle of your game, they won't lose their count.

If this sounds like something you could use, take a look:  www.spiffworld.com/sotm

I would still go with knitting counters as the ultimate HP tracker. They are easy to use and if they get knocked around, you don't lose the life count.

There is a great iPad ap that I use. It has all villains, heroes, villain targets, heroe targets and environment tArgets with HP. There is a max HP and current HP row so you can keep track of both at the same time. It is only a dollar and works great. Only issue is that it doesn't reset for baron blades but you can do that yourself. The layout also works great for everyone since the heroes can be rotated to suit where people are sitting.

Yep, the Sentinel Sidekick.

We use poker chips as easy counters.
