So me and a few friends just stumbled upon something that might need to get checked on: Haka had most of Infinitor's manifestations under savage mana and his last manifestations were on the field. Infinitor's one shots all make him play the top card of the deck. With this, he just kept playing the top card of his deck over and over and over again in an infinite loop that killed most of the team except for haka and the sentinels who had damage reduction on them so the 1 damage that he deals from some of the cards could not kill him. Now I know he is called the Infinitor, and I know I am a playtester, but seriously how did this slip by EVERYONE? We couldn't finish the game...
One-shots remain in play until all of it's effects are done. If a one-shot plays another one-shot, the first one-shot will remain in play until the second one completes. If the second one-shot plays another one-shot, the second will remain in play until the third is done. And since the second is still in play, the first card is also still in play. This continues until One-shots stop playing cards that will play another card. So once Infinitor plays ever single one-shot, he'll stop and put every one-shot in his trash.
If you find an infinite loop, chances are you are playing it wrong. It's a standard rule of thumb.
Ronway is correct. All those one-shots stay in play until they completely resolve. Newest actions always resolve first, so the new cards that get played start being resolved before the old ones finish. Playing Akash is a great way to practice this, as she consistantly has a lot of one-shots with multiple parts that string in the play area like this.
