Iron Legacy gets 2 Superhuman Redirection cards

So, if Iron Legacy plays two "Superhuman Redirection" is one just a redundant power, or do both apply?

Since it is the first time Iron legacy would be dealt damage, they both would still apply but is very redundant as they both we trigger the same attack. So it still works as if there were only one in play. Just means its harder to get rid of.

Same as Omnitron's APS then - both have the same effect so having two of them out is the same as having just one - it's just more cards tro destroy.

Thanks for the quick replies. This is the way we were playing it, just wanted to make sure we wern't missing anything.

I would consider them to be redundant because I go out of my way to not hit him for 5+ when he has them out. I consider them blank cards from him most of the time. :)

false. The ruling would be the same as stacking Tachyon's synaptic interruptions, meaning that he redirects the first 2 attacks each turn.

As seen here.

(not an official ruling, I realize, but a logical and well-agreed-upon one.)

I don't know what the pre-EE text of Synaptic Interruption was (the current text does indeed say may), but unless it said "The first time each turn…", then we're dealing with a different situation.

Totally false. SuperHuman Redirection specifically states "The first time each turn" while Synaptic Interruption is "Whenever dealt" so two completely different text means two completely different outcomes. The first time can only occur once, so both would trigger together as it is the first time. It's more comparable to the Amulet of the Elder Gods, as it is very similar wording, only difference is NightMist can redirect any amount while Legacy can only redirect 5 or more.

Two different card, with two different text, causing two different effects.
