Living Weapon doesn't work with Jackhandle?

So I was up against Kaargra Warfang with Mr. Fixer, and he had the Jackhandle out. He took out a gladiator and earned the Living Weapon title, but the +2 never applied to his attacks. Is this a bug?

I would think it should.   I've submitted a ticket to Handelabra.

Fixer and Living Weapon is great. The best combo I've seen is Tempest with Deathcaller, Living Weapon, and Indescriminate. He was really deadly

I managed to replicate your results.  I've attached the relevant log file, and sent it off to Handelabra as well.  It took a ridiculously long time to find Jack Handle, though.

Huh. I'm guessing it's because Jack Handle "cancels" the damage. But I was using Jack Handle when he earned the Title in the first place, so that trigger still recognized it as using his base power.

This is a bug and we're looking into it, thanks!

Also, I’m not sure if this is as intended or not, but the second attack from a dual crowbars does not earn the Living Weapon title.

That might be because it's the Crowbar reacting to the damage and not part of Fixer's base power.

Second shot from crowbar is not part of strike.

Similarly destroying a target by hitting it with strike and the effect of Tire Iron destroying the target should not count as destroying with your base power.  I could be wrong though, just seems like it should work that way.

I agree on Tire Iron, I'm not certain on your reasoning on Crowbar; hitting everything with Jack Handle is also not part of Strike, should Living Weapon only apply with unmodified damage?

Jackhandle rewrites the targetting of the attack, it doesn't actually cancel the original attack, just alters the wording of it.  At least that is my understanding.

With Jackhandle Strike becomes deal all non-hero targets 1 melee damage, so I would appy it to the whole thing the same as Squall.

Crowbar responds to damage Mr. Fixer deals by then hitting a different target for the same amount (+ modifiers)

Crowbars + Strike + Living Weapon should result in (1+2+1) 4 melee, and then (4+1) 5 melee.

It should not gain the effect of Living Weapon on the second hit anymore than Cosmic's Autonomous Blade should if you had that on Fixer and used strike.  They both respond to damage being dealt.

Thinking this through the Video Game resolution of Crowbars + Jackhandle makes sense to me, as Jackhandle is changing the targetting of Crowbars' damage from "he may deal that damge to one other target as well" to "he may deal that damage to all non-hero targets as well"

Although following that logic it would seem that Crowbars should only respond once to damage dealt by Squall (if Guise borrowed crowbars and used Squall)

We will have to wait and see.

Either way once they sort out exactly how they want it to work I really hope we can get errata for it.  If not printed at least posted and changed in the Video Game.

I thought that might be the way it was. Prior to playing the video game I always played Crowbars and Jackhandle the same way, as if the power was just changed to include additional targets. Only a few months ago did I realize the difference.
