New Vengeance Player with Question re: The Sentinels

I read the thread on playing the Sentinels.  I still need a little more clarification on damaging them.

If a villain cards refers to damaging all hero targets, do all 4 Sentinels take damage?

If it refers to "highest HP/2nd lowest, etc.", do the individual Sentinels count towards that calculation?

My guess is that both would be "yes".  I only aks because they if the answer is "yes", then they are tissue paper in hurricane (at least in my two uses).

If something targets a player or character card, such as Primordial Plantlife from Insula Primalus, then you choose which Sentinel takes the damage. If something damages all hero targets, all the Sentinels take damage. If A Sentinel is the hero target with the highest HP or lowest HP, then they're affected just like everything else.

The Sentinels, as a group, are one hero. However, they are, individually, four hero targets. If something affects the hero with the lowest hp and any one of the Sentinels fits that definition, then you can choose which one gets hit. If it says hero target, then it is the specific Sentinel with the lowest hp.

They count as one hero because then H isn't affected (just think, H would be four before anyone else has even chosen a hero, regardless of how many other players there actually were!). Also for stuff like Plague Rat - he flips when every hero is Infected, but only has five copies of Infection in his deck. So when it's the Sentinels' turn to be Infected, you choose which individual one of the four will have the card attached to them.

They may look like tissue paper, but they have a ton of ways to heal, gain damage reduction, redirect damage away, and resurect even after being incaped. They also have a massive amount of effective health to chew through. While AoE affects them more than other heros, single target attacks are easily mitigated. Once the whole team (sentinels and the rest of the group) are around the same HP, there is a ton of ways to manipulate health to take advantage of the Sentinel's defensive tool kits and still lay down the damage.

In our games with the Sentinels, Mainstay's base power is the one used the majority of the time. This really helps mitigate the damage being dealt to them as they build up and start going off with cards.
