Numbered hexes on tiles and maps?

I know it is too late for this on this print run, but for the future is there any chance of numbered hexes on the tiles and maps?

The reason that I ask is that it makes it much easier to run play by email (or other types of remote) games as you can track the position of the characters by the number. For example "legacy moves from hex 001 to 005 and..."

This may be something not many people are interested in, but I thought I would throw it out there.

I second that idea.

Wouldn't an overlay/underlay that gave a reference system be a better plan? For the most part, the numbers would clutter the board for people who were playing in real-life. Maybe pdf versions of the scenario maps with numbers on them so people could look at them on electronic devices?

The "battleship" style location system Is an option for fixed maps (using rows and columns, ie A01 to B03). That way you only have letters and numbers on the outside of the map. However, that wouldn't work for the tiles. I am open to ideas for sure.

Number every hex, letter every tile.

Tile A has hexes numbered 1-12, Tile B also has 1-12. You start on A2, move to A3 and then move on to B12.

It also makes building maps easier. A is next to B, C is directly under B with C10 at the top

They'll definitely need something for any kind of tournaments they want to run, in order to track what happened, etc.
