Apologies if others have said this. There's so much new content on the boards I haven't been able to get through it. Sentinel Tactics was released to playtesters yesterday. There are over 20 new threads in the playtest forums. I don't think we've seen this level of engagement before. The ranks of playtesters has swelled and there's a lot of excitement about the new game.

 

I really don't mean this as a tease to those not in the playtest forums. I thought you'd at least be interested that playtesting has started, particularly as it may lead to less traffic in the other forums.

Meh, I'm bored already. I'm going to log off the forum for a week, just because.

I've got my playtesting mostly done for the night. The mods are always watching. Always.

Yeah, much playtesting leads to very few posts off the playtesting forums, so as to limit [REDACTED] comments and spoilers.  Brain all into playtesting mode.

I will say this. I have no intent on spoiling anything in the game, but in case you were worried about its quality...

DON'T BE. Tactics is going to be AWESOME.

I have no doubt it will be fantastic! The <G folk have proved that game mechanics are one of their many fortes.

The game system was not designed by >G. Just throwing that out there for clarification. It is based around the tacdice system.

I was going to say angry abusive things for pointing out that others don't get to join in … I only got the mailer about the new playtest window the day after it closed … so a bit of a sore spot…

but thank you for letting us know that playtesting has started … I know those that aren't in playtesting are very excited about Tactics

and we all hope you have heaps of fun and make it the best game it can be

Yes, Tactics is based around the TacDice system. However, I wouldn't say that it's not designed by GTG. Many hands and all that.

I'm late to the party.... Is it still possible to buy the playtester package now?

Unfortunately, no. Playtesting is opened periodically, though, so keep your eyes peeled.

Just how many hands do you have? How do you keep them hidden from the rest of the world?
