Omnitron and area attacks

Fairly straight forward question here, if omnitron has multiple hexes targeted by an area attack like bunker's grenades, does he get attacked multiple times or can a target only be attacked once by a given area attack?

Omnitron-V will only be hit once, no matter how many of his hexes are in the radius of the attack.

Thank you very much, just thought of a related question though. When you end your your movement and place down omnitron's other  hexes, dot hey count as entering a hex for the purpose of acivating hazards?  Also, if they both enter the radius hazard like ra's blazing torrnado, does that activate twice or just once?

If a part of Omnitron-V enters a Hazard Space, it will trigger that Hazard Space. If more than one part of Omnitron-V is in a Hazard Space, it will trigger only once.

Yeah you place him down all at once, not one tile followed by the other 2.

But if Absolute Zero has multiple Structures in play, and their radius has been buffed, he triggers each one he is within a radius of one from when he moves, correct?  So if two of his three hexes are beside five of them then he will be hit by all five?  If he moves further after that will he trigger them again if he remains in their radius of 1?

Is there even a way to increase the radius of Impaling Structure?

Though I will use a real game problem, if Ra has Living Pyre and Blazing Tornado in play, next a Volcano, with two Raptors and if Omnitron-V enters all five of those with any of his hexes, then he is attacked by all five. If Omnitron-V moves, any of his other hexes enter a space that has just triggered a hazard space would not trigger again, because Omnitron-V is not entering the Hazard Space, one of his hexes are. Though any new hex he enters that has a hazard space will trigger.

You don’t need to buff the radius for the AZ question. If Omnitron lands on more than one Impaling Structure, it gets hit more than once.

I assumed it was affected by Fueled Freeze, but I could be wrong.  It does say they're Hazard Attacks as opposed to Area Attacks, but since Fueled Freeze pluralized area attacks I assumed it meant more than just his Thermal Shockwave.

Fueled Freeze specifies it increases the radius of Absolute Zero's area attacks. Impaling Structures are a hazard attack. The reason why Fueled Freeze probably uses the plural of Area Attack is there is a possibility of adding more promo Power Cards which have Area Attacks on them. Or perhaps there will be something that gives characters an attack in a Scenario.

Absolute Zero is not the source of the attack from Impaling Structures, the structure is, so it son't be increased.

I think that's clarified since it is labeled as a "hazard attack".  I now realize it's different from an area attack.  Does the rulebook state that the tokens are not damage dealt by Absolute Zero?

I'd be surprised if characters weren't the source of Hazard attacks that they're generating. Would you say the same thing about the Operative or Ra when they turn the area around them into a Hazard?

Yet another thought on this line of reasoning, does proletariat get attack multiple times when more than one instance of him is in an area attack? Also, on the topic of who affects what, can a hero be affected by the track of one of their companion cards? I ask because of the hammer swing explicitly mentioning that other proletariat are immune.

Proletariat is unique in that he is one character, and yet many at the same time. If three Proletariats are hit by one area attack, they each defend separately. A companion's  attack can damage the character and vice versa.

So, Luther, Absolute Zero can be damaged by his own Impaling Structures, and Ambuscade can be damaged by his own traps?

(These are not Companions so your previous answer does not quite apply)

If Absolute Zero was the source of the hazard attack then he would need line of sight and range would be from AZ to the target.

Impaling structures create the hazard spaces, they deal the attack.

Just like Tornado is the source of the attack for the hazard spaces it creates, not Ra.

Ra and Operative are the source of the hazard spaces and the attack for their hazard spaces.  Just like Turret bot creates its own attack and traps create their own attacks.

I don't know if Ra or AZ can be damaged by their structures/tornado, but I think they aren't due to that card still being their power.

AZ can be damaged by his own hazards as impaling structure makes no mention about whether it ignore allies.   Baron Blade's turret in his second scenario do specifically say they don't hit allies.    AZ also has the one power card to allow him and allies within 1 hex to ignore hazards.

The turrets are targets and are not power cards. Impaling Structures are not targets and are power cards. They are not really comparable cards. While the origin of the attack is located on the Impaling Structure, it is still one of Absolute Zero's attacks. All targets are immune to their own attacks, this makes Absolute Zero immune to Impaling Structure.

Where do the rules state that?   Nothing outside the power card Sub-Zero Atmosphere would leave me to believe he is Immune to the Impaling Structure
