Parse and Omnitron and Timey-Wimey Problems, oh my!

Ok, so to spell this out. With the recent (I assume) update to the bios that have added the first appearances of the Vengeance heroes, we now know Parse's first appearance was in Mystery Comcis #97, just 70 issues after Maia Montgomery made her debut.

We also know that Omnitron and Cosmic Omknitron debut in the same issue of Freedomf Five (#305). Which is an interesting fact in and of itself. The original Omnitron appears to have been a one issue fight for the Freedom Five. A throwaway villain who was resurrected later when it proved propular.

Given that Parse's bio states she gained her abilities from the event that created Cosmisc Omnitron, Mystery Comics #97 must occur after Freedom Five #305. But that means Freedom Five had 300(!!) issues while Mystery only had 70. This is, just about, possible if Freedom Five was a weekly while Mystery was a monthly or similar schedule but dang, that's a big gap to fill in.

I suppose it's possible that Kim Howell appears in Mystery Comics #97 as an unpowered investigator (Mystery Comics #98 appears on the text of Snap Decision, incidentally), rather than as Parse. Or that Mystery comics is a series that's cancelled and restarted multiple times but that's a bit of a cheat to people trying to put the timelines into some kind of sense.

So, how on Earth can these timings be reconciled?

We actually have been told Freedom Five was a weekly or close to it, I think. You made it actually line up pretty easy.

Its possible that Mystery comics wasn't always on a monthly basis. Maybe sometimes another issue from a different comic would take its place.

As for Omnitron/Cosmitron...it's really weird that they both have first apperances in the same issue of Freedom 5. Could it be a typo? I as almost positive the 7-8 mini series called "Singularity" were Omnitron-X first shows up and sacrifices himself to blow Omnitron to smitherines was with Omnitron v1. Thats kinda the feeling I got when I asked Christopher about it a long while ago. I wonder how that works out?

That is wierd, Baron Blade and Mad Bomber Blade have different first appearances.

Maybe they aren't the same guy...
