Probably a dumb question here, but I was wondering about Parse's "Critical Multiplier" card. Card says the effect goes off "whenever you discard a card from hand."
So for single-card discards (like "Segmentation Fault") this obviously means you get to pop a +1 bonus on someone, which is nice.
But what about cards that allow multiple discards (or force them) as a single effect? Examples would be Parse's own "Recompile" or the various environment cards that are destroyed by discarding your whole hand. In these cases, do you get:
A) A single +1 bonus for the entire discard action, or
B) One +1 bonus for EACH card discarded?
Under A, I discard a theoretical 10 cards when discarding my hand and grant only +1. Under B, I instead grant +10 overall using the same discard.
I would say it works for each individual card, since it specifies "when you discard a card" - with something like Recompile you're discarding up to three, so each one of those thre (if that how many you chose to discard) would be a card, therefore allowing the effect to occur three times.
Thats how I read it as well. Because the card isn't Limited, and it says a card, I also say it double stacks for having multiple Criticals in play
The Trigger is discarding a card. Doesn't matter why, how, or when - anything that forces you to discard will trigger critical multiplier, each time you discard a card.
I agree with this and would also say that each bonus can go to a different person. So for example if I have to Criticals in play and Recompile discarding three cards I have a total of +6 to hand out in any combination. Maybe I give my self a +1 so my power is strong enough to kill something then I give the next hero a +2, then the last hero gets a +3.
I think you mean Citizen Tears. Citizen Sweat will make her cry harder, but will also make it harder to get/keep double Critical Multipliers in play, potentially resulting in Parse crying instead.
