Maybe I'm erroneous, as now I can't find what I was thinking of. :P I agree the fact that the Virtuosos can lend instruments to newbies suggests they have access to old ones, but I somehow got the impression that Argent is the only one who approaches the matter in the way he does (actively collecting and using them in large numbers).
Still wouldn't change my question that terribly much either way, though, in that it's still kinda nebulous regards what specific knowledge and power level our favorite resident bard is missing with his self-taughted-ness.
What makes Visionary seem even weirder to me is when she's compared to Idealist who is a much more "normal" psychic, in that while Idealist is also powerful, she still does only things you could see being connected to psychic abilities. In contrast Visionary is often a straight up reality warper where the non-telepathy stuff she does more resembles magic than psychic abilities, and yet she has none of the ritualistic restrictions that any other magic-users in the fiction have.
I agree I'd love to have a Magic of the Multiverse episode now that you mention it; something where we get the same amount of detail for other magics that we got with the Blood Magic ep. Maybe we can get to suggest it during the Patreon...
