Rewind to Start of Turn vs. Double Skip a Turn

Had an odd item come up in a game yesterday, possibly a bug with the new Undo to Star of Turn mechanic?

On the Mars Base, both the Countdown and the Meteor Storm were in play.  On my 1st hero's turn (Bunker), the countdown came up first and I said no to skipping my turn for it, then I said yes to skipping my turn for the Meteors, destroying that card and ending Bunker's turn (as expected).

On my 2nd hero's turn (SST) however, I was reconsidering leaving the Meteors in play, so clicked the Undo button, which gave me the choice of jumping back to Bunker's Start of Turn or his Play a Card phase.  Not expecing to see the Play option there got me Intrigued, so I clicked Bunker's Play a Card and the game put me into Bunker's Play phase with the Meteor Storm still destroyed.  The game then let me continue with the free play & power from Bunker.

Did you get screenshots?

edit: I would agree that's certainly not expected behavior.  Nice to get a free turn out of it.

I'm on an iPad, so wasn't able to document the whole thing.  The only screen grab I have is firm SST's turn (pic.twitter.com/lc0oEEsu6u) and doesn't really show the sequence.  I' re been trying to recreate it and will make more screenshots if I can.

The same thing happened with me before and also with Bunker. I had a mode in play. On Bunker's turn, I said no to the mode destruction prompt, yes to skipping my turn for Meteor Shower. On the next character's turn, I meant to rewind to their play phase but hit Bunker's play phase by accident and saw the same thing as seesome.

Someone on the Handelabra Forums reported seeing that a while ago.  He also had Countdown and Meteors, but not Bunker.

(I can't find an easy way to link to the post, but if you search on "undo", it comes up.)

I don't recall if I had a mode active at the time, but I'm pretty sure that I had the omni-cannon in play, which would have also given me a similar start of turn ask (load 3 cards?) in the mix

Have you submitted the bug to Handelabra using their Feedback form?

If it's as widespread as it is they probably know about it already, but that's the best way to be sure.

I had that happen, only I rewound to the start of the turn -- I had Legacy skip his turn to remove the Meteor Shower, then realized Expatriette just drew her Rocket Launcher and decided to let her handle it instead. So I rewound to the start of Legacy's turn, Meteor Shower stayed destroyed, but it let me do all his phases.

Methinks we've found why they didn't include this at launch guys.

I was testing this further to see if I could replicated it as I didn't get screenshots thie first time.  I've now reproduced it without the Meteor Swarm, although in both cases it involved a Start-of-Turn (SoT) question about skipping a turn for the Self-Destruct Sequence (SDS) and a SoT question for Bunker (e.g. destroy a mode? or load the omni-cannon?). This time, I captured screenshots of the whole sequence…

Pic1: Bunker's SoT, 3 cards under SDS – SDS asks about skipping B's turn & I say yes

Pic2: Legacy's SoT, 4 cards under SDS – SDS asks about skipping L's turn & I say no

Pic3: During L's turn, I click rewind and am given the option of going to B's SoT, Play a Card or Use a Power Phase; only B's SoT should be available as a valid choice. Interestingly, B's Draw a Card and End of Turn Phases aren't presented as options.

Pic4: I rewind to B's Play a Card Phase and can continue his turn. Note that there are still 4 cards under the SDS.

FYI, If I chose to rewind to B's SoT, it would reset this sequence to the beginning and I could replicate it.

[I Xposted these details & screenshots to the Handleabra forum as well]

I started to see this pop up on the Steam forums too.  I'm pretty sure Jean Marc is the only member of their team not at Gencon so it may be a while before you get a response.

Eh.  I'm in no rush for a response, I just wanted to help document the issue.
