I met someone this weekend who claimed to know one of the makers of SOTM through the Society for Creative Anachronism...is it true that one or more of the >G crew are members thereof?

Okay, well, if that was true, I played a game of SOTM with the son of a woman who claimed to know him through that. His name was Niko, though I didn't catch the mother's.
I've heard that as well from the SCA side. I'm peripherally involved with the local Barony – mostly hanging out. I do Pennsic and perhaps very few other events a year.
Yup, Christopher and I are both in the SCA, and I know who Niko is as well :)
