About Unleased Visionary…So Visionary finally detached herself from her Darker self, a dark passenger she caught while travelling between time and space. She now has full control of herself. But where did this dark passenger go…?
On the Genocidal page of the ARG, we see Dark Visionary flying beside Legacy. She teleports away. On the Scion's Aid page of the ARG, normal Visionary is seen in the lower left corner. The Scion talks about how OblivAeon found him(her?) beyond space and time, how it was offered a collar. It is also important to note how intimately the Scion seems to know our heroes.
Ok, theory time:
Dark Visionary is the Scion seen in the Scion's Aid page of the ARG. A few evidences:
-Dark Visionary is present at the beginning of the OblivAeon event, but it is normal Visionary who is in charge toward the end of the events. As powerful as she is (banishing Gloomweaver with nothing else than a dismissive gesture is… impressive to say the least…) why would Dark Visionary give up at that precise moment? Which leads to…
-Why would Dark Visionary teleport away the moment it appears that OblivAeon is coming? Perhaps she knows how to free herself from Visionary and chose this moment to take action by herself?
-Some grammatical clues here and there… Dark Visionary was lingering beyond time and space when she hoped on Visionary's back for a ride. The Scion tells the heroes that OblivAeon found her beyond time and space. Coincidence? Maybe… Also:
-OblivAeon offered the Scion a collar. Could this collar be Visionary herself? After all, Dark Visionary seems to be tied to Visionary in some ways and it looks like she cannot fully control Visionary…
-Dark Visionary, from her bio, is said to be a version of Vanessa who made very different choices. Being an herald of a cosmic entity wishing to destroy everything seems enough radically different than trying to save the world. Maybe that's just me…
-We know that Dark Visionary remembers the heroes when she takes over Visionary's body in the fight against Gloomweaver. That could explain why she seems to know personally every heroes already.
-''Sweet child''. This is how the Scion answers to the Visionary when she enquires why they should help her. It does sound intimate to me, at least…
-Last but not least: Fixed Point. Vanessa Long has to exist in every timelines. If she doesn't, then she couldn't become the powerful Scion who aided defeat the Multiverse ultimate foe…
I might be forgetting some things… Just a theory…
