I’d love to get them from you. Keep wanting to get them downloaded, but having issues making the time to do it.
Count me in for wanting them! I’ve downloaded a couple and was hoping to get more, but this month has been endlessly chaotic and I haven’t been able to make the time. Knowing what you’ve got might help me get others.
Okay, here’s the link to the folder: Villainy Unpublished Archive - Google Drive
(Let me know if the it’s not working.)
The folder has, I think, most of the villain posts — not all of them, though, as copying down those that I did took quite a bit of time already. Of course, if there are any missing that anyone particularly wants to save, it should be quite easy to get them.
No problem copying and sharing, folks. The blog may well be back at some point, but I’d like to let it cool down to try to shake some bots. Really not comfortable with them doing whatever they’re doing.
I do hope the blog comes back at some point, I really enjoy the stuff you create.
I’ve saved every individual entry to archive.org for those who still want to read them.
That should save some hunting while it’s AWOL. Also another backup if anything goes awry when I do try to restore it.
All right, I’ve restored everything for the time being at least. We’ll see how well a couple of weeks off shakes some of the bots. Did some minor editing while I was at it, mostly correcting spelling errors and the like.
Well, @FrivYeti’s enjoying his anniversary this week so I guess I’d better try to hammer my old campaign notes into something worth posting so there’s something new to read around here.
Today’s offering is an environment designed to be used as the aftermath of the heroes defeating a particularly grandiose villainous war machine. Also good for reskinning into a starship crashlanding, the demolition of a major base facility, a disabled kaiju’s remains, or even something as mundane as a battered naval warship beached to keep it from sinking altogether.
Got to actually play last weekend even if it was just a one-shot. The GM wanted a group of heroes with some kind of connection to the 60s/early 70s to go up against a Big Bad who’d time-jumped from the era, so Silver Age zaniness was in the cards. I came up with this lovely lass, at least partly because I’d been watching old honey West episodes again:
Go-Go Robo, Hippie Fembot Super-Speedster
Fun times were had by all.
I was reminded the other day that this villain hadn’t gotten posted when I was making my big push - he’d overlapped with the earlier Deadface as a Bully/Inhibitor build - but they have fairly different styles so there’s no reason not to put him up now.
Tirade, A deranged Conspiracy Theorist Turned Demagogue Supervillain
I occasionally get people asking about other online reseources for the SCRPG, so I’ve put up a brief post with links to things that I’ve found most useful/interesting over the last few years. As it says on the post, if anyone has has links they’d like to suggest I’ll take a look and update accordingly.
on YouTube Brian Wolfhunt has videos I liked introducing the system for newbies.
Pretty sure I’ve seen them, along with quite a few of his other vids. There’s some other excellent breakdowns and playthroughs over there as well, of course. If you’ve got links I’ll be happy to add them to the post, but I’ve been avoiding youtube since they started insisting on users disabling ad blocks (which I wouldn’t do for my own relatives, much less a corporation) so fishing them up myself isn’t happening.
Not the right place to discuss it, but there are, of course, ways around that.
I’m aware, but unwilling. There’s more than enough truly free media content out there to sate my needs even if I became a Legion archetype villain, and many of the YT creators I was most enthusiastic are available elsewhere anyway.
I do rather miss Seth Skorkowsky, though.

New series of posts starting up doing an overview of the gameplay loop and what actually happens in a session. Today’s offering examines the three types of scenes and how they work:

@Chief_Lackey_Rich: Looks like the link is for your editing version? When we hit it, it goes to the Blogger main page.
