I've been thinking of keeping notes as I play the game. Normally the roll of keeping track of the villain turn falls to me, and frankly, it's easy to forget bits. While I've never kicked myself about it, I'd like to more accurately play the game.
For these notes, I think a shorthand of sorts would be useful. What to people think of the following:
I divide a sheet into two columns and three rows. The columns are for the Villian and Environment. The rows are "beginning of turn", "During a turn or elsewhen", and "end of turn"
The notes are abbreviated as follows:
An up arrow, a number 'X', a "H" or "H+E", a dash then number 'y': Highest 4 Hero (or hero plus environment) targets take "y" damage
A down arrow, etc. would denote damage to the lowest HP targets
Things like a backlash field, additional damage, etc. are noted in the middle:
A backlash field is sort of like a "K" except the top bit has an outgoing arrow (picture Calvin saying 'pa-Ting!') followed by the amount of damage
"V+1" = Villain targets do one extra damage
Can people think of other quick abbreviations needed to make this work? I know that there are counters to help with this, but I've not had them work that well.
Thanks in advance.
