Yeah, La Capitan should definitely be a 2, while Kismet is probably better off as a 2.

Maybe the printer just messed up with the files?

Huh. I thought Kismet was listed as a 3. Well, I still think La Capitan should be, at least.

If you don't have trash shenanigans from Visionary or Chrono-ranger, Raiding Parties are the only way to reliably get rid of the ship.  You just have to hope both All Together Nows get discarded.  Once they're both in the trash with the ship, you're pretty much set... if you can clean up the crew members.

The first time I played La Capitan with my brother (we don't play anything but advanced) we got mauled but the more we play her which, admittedly, is a ton the easier she gets. Kill the ship. Peck at her with small attacks when she flips then unleash when she flips back. The only crew that we have trouble with is that stupid samurai (sorry if it is modeled after someone) and trueshot. I love playing her though; I enjoy having a spanish villain to pronounce with a true spanish accent. Although the French from Le Epistiete (sorry about spelling don't have my cards with me) is rough on natural spanish speakers....

I just finished a really tense game of BIIIIIIIIIRDS IIIIIIIIIN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE, where I played with all the Vengeance heroes. It was something I tried back in playtesting, but back then the heroes were far from their best (*coughSETBACKcough*) so I died miserably. I decided to give it a second go around, and this time -- apart from KNYFE and Setback, who died early before I got my tanking/healing racket that is the Sentinels properly established -- everyone survived with full health. The Matriarch ended up flipping no less than 5 times, helped along a bit by Parse using Updated Intel to push all the birds to the top and discard all the really bad stuff. I almost had to deal with the cohorts a second time, but a well-planned Buffer Overflow took care of that problem before it even started. She ended up going down to 40, healing back up to full, and THEN being pummelled down while on her Ruler of the Flock side. I could have killed her earlier in the round, but instead I decided to go for the more thematic kill and first cleared the mask, carrion fields, and all 12 birds in play from the board before reducing her to 1 HP and insta-killing her with Cornered Beast.

We had a rather dramatic game last week. Three hour game utilizing 3 Vengance characters (plus one homebrew) seemed to be absolutely in hand (you know, for a terribly long game). It had been drawn out by lots of getting used to the decks and the villain strategies. Ermine seemed to keep herself redirecting attacks all game while Blade stayed buffed. We seemingly couldn't get any of the ongoing destruction that we needed, and our ongoings were constantly being pulled out of the game. I was using the Sentinels and using Medico to keep everyone healthy until I started Blocking with Mainstay. We had taken down Friction and Fright Train, but Setback and Parse were running low. Freedom Tower was keeping highest and lowest +1 and -1 respectively, but Blade was abusing us even when we finally incapped him. It came down to Ermine and the mini-nemises, but Setback had taken far too much hurt, the Sentinels couldn't keep rolling, and KNYFE and the homebrew fizzled. An Entry Point mixed with the +1 already in play from the environment was dealing serious damage from the villains. Coming from being down, getting back in with some epic Setback and Sentinels, but eventually collapsing made for a roller coaster game.
