Shattered Timelines Received!

That's really sad if they're doing it in alphabetical order; I'm an 'S'.  (Though it would be even worse if they did it by last name, since I'm a 'W' there).  This is why I've always hated alphabetical order  :stuck_out_tongue:

My mailbox is 9523 miles from St Louis!!! Waiting... waiting...

i figure it is alpha order because they had to print all the packing slips in some order and first name was probably default since mailing labels are first name-last name, rather than last name-first name.

That said, the order isn't a big deal. at most you're talking a day or two difference...  and heck, in any case you're getting it WAY ahead of the promised date of May.

but i can also see the excitment and wanting it now. i'm just trying not to obsess over it and anxiously biding my time until my order gets here too (which won't be until after the kickstarter people get theres since i missed the kickstarter and just did an order from their website over the weekend)

Just can't wait to get their emails. But since judging by people's response they are shipping it to the closer people first or maybe by the time they ordered.

Oh well at least still earlier than the expected May delivery date?

Could be by geography.  Hadn't thought of that, but that seems complex.  arenson got his and lives near St. Louis. I should get mine tomorrow and live in Michigan. Anyone get a notification of shipment that lives a ways away?  I don't know why I even care about this but I do!

My name begins with 'T'. I guess I'm paying for the rest of life, where I was a solid 'D'. The difference in shipments won't be severe, though, so I'll be happy whenever it arrives, since I'm so excited for it now!

Ahem. This will be fun, creeping about the forums for the next few weeks.

I'm a B, and I got mine earlier today. HUZZAH!

I'm a 'K', and no Fedex notification so far. There must have been a lot of Garys and Ians who ordered.

(Or Johns, Josephs, Juans, Johanns, etc.)

'P' Curse you alphabet!!!! And my uncle for beign born on the same day (St Andrew's Day)or I'd have been an Andreww!!!!! But mostly curse the alphabet!!!!

Hmmm. I'm a C and nothing so far (and over in England, so the proximity theory holds for me at least)... I'm less impatient and more curious as to their organisational system :P

I very much doubt it's by Geography.  arenson9 lives in Indianapolis, which, while fairly close, is still about 250 miles away.  Also, I live maybe 5 miles away from arenson9, who already has his copy recieved, and I've not yet even gotten tracking information from FedEx yet.  So I really don't think it is by location.

It could also be by the time you place your order? Which mean late comers have to wait longer.

Hopefully thats not the case, really hope mine comes soon for a game date with my GF before she has to work really far away for coop ><.

Hmm if it's done by time, that's a possiblity - timezones could then come into play. I mean, if the survey thing was posted to people at some point during the evening, say, over in America, then that'd be the early hours of the morning for me and so I'd've been in bed - even replying to the survey as soon as I saw the e-mail in my inbox (which is what I did, naturally ;)), I was probably several hours behind the many many American people who probably got there first ;).

Oh well, I shall continue to get slightly excited every time I open my inbox, and then slightly excited again when I see my inbox is devoid of any kind of postal-tracking-sounding e-mail and check my trash folder instead (just in case) :D.

This.

(Also: mine should arrive today! Go C's!)

Mine is on the delivery truck right now!

They're all being packed in order alphabetically by first name, because that's how Kickstart outputs the information. We COULD go through and spend time reordering the 2000+ individual backers in some other order, but we decided to not waste time doing that, as any order would be at least somewhat unfair to someone.

We also considered packing them all up and them shipping them all at once, that way you'd all get them in a much closer time fram to each other, but we just don't have space for that. Our 1700 square foot warehouse is FULL of games, and as we're emptying cases of games, we're buildling individual boxes of a game or two or three or more and a PILE of promos and mini-expansions, and those boxes start taking up space fast! So, we're doing daily pickups and the FedEx guy is always thrilled to see us! Mostly. Maybe.

Anyway, I can guarantee that you will get your game FAR before the May deadline, so no one has anything to worry about! Even the last person to get their game will get it weeks and weeks before we said you would! Hooray!

Recieved mine yesterday morning, and have played lots of games with it so far. Probably the best expansion to date! The three new heroes seem to work well together as long as they don't have unlucky card draws or damage is being reduced.

There goes my giant-wheel-of-fortune-with-2000-names-on-it theory…

just got a call from my apartment office that they have an package for me and an email from FedEx that it’s been delivered. by 5pm ill - finally- own sentinels. After doing then wiki and managing the statistics project its amazing it took me this long to get one!

So you'll finally be able to play a game online rather than being the creepy guy watching from the corner! I am on the fence about doing a 7 pm central game this evening, I most likely will. It'll be fun to wear out all the new things within the first few days!
