Silver Gulch 1883

I'm more excited about this environment than I was about the Time Cataclysm, and I didn't think that was possible.

Get the feeling this will be Chrono-Ranger's "home"?

If it is I bet they have quite the rat problem…

An old-west town as an environment?

I know I say I get excited a lot, so forgive me if I'm just repeating myself, but damn.

This is gonna be sweet.

Great news! Now I won't have to mod my "Revolver" cards into an environment deck after all.

"Revovler," by the way, is a terrific game in its own right for those of you who enjoy Westerns.

I now have a desire to mix this deck with Time Cataclysm (and maybe one or two other environment decks) to create a super environment.  The Time Cataclysm would be the explanation for such a varied environment (how can we be in the old west 1889 and on Mars at the same time?).

Add this with promo hero card! every turn the hero card goes to a different promo, (a reworking of the timeline.) The environment is is constant fluctuation, what's next? More than one villain?.. YES!

Somone needs to work in the villains!

This is going to be fun... I'm picturing a western Rook City, with some serious baddies and a few allies in a mean enviroment.

I hope this environment has a grizzled old sheriff to help the heroes out. I love the concept of special people helping the heroes out like in Rook City. I'm assuming we're going to see attacks from the Hayes brothers themselves.

And then the Block happened.

Hype

(the roof)

That is specifically the combination I want, Time Cataclysm, The Block, and Silver Gulch (maybe even throw in a Tomb of Annubis for fun).

I'm envisioning a massive collection of simultaneous games, but with only one set of villains. Each sub-game has a villain and an environment, but the same heroes are fighting all of them at once. Thing is, for the heroes to switch from one sub-game to another they have to all skip their turn and whatever sub-game they go to immediately gets an environment turn and a villain turn before the heroes get to do anything.

I think that >G has to do this as thier promotion for a show! Have a contest to invite people to this match, and broadcast it. That would be epic!

Now there is a prescedent for time anomalies altering objects... I would love if some entiroment cards turned hero equipment cards into "timeline appropriate" stuff like six-shoters.

"All equipment cards lose their abilities and gain the following text: power: deal 2 projectile damage".

It would be detrimental but also hiliarious.

Well, I suppose Expatriette wouldn't mind - her two special guns already look rather like the two out of a certain Red Dwarf episode anyway ;).

That sounds like a variant I used to play and run for a different game. I’ll look into running such an event at the next Gen-Con. Although now that I type that, next year is my “one-day” Gen-Con per my deal with my wife. Sigh.

I took a look at the environment and it looks great!!

As far as I know it is the only one that can make you lose the game, right? Cards that avoid you to play environment cards (like the one bunker has) kinda give you trouble.

We haven't had a "Game Over" environment since the Wagner Mars Base. It was time to bring it back.

Hmmmmmmmm, my random wild guesses are "cave in at the gold mine" or "killed your own grandmother" for interesting game ending cards.

Haven't you seen the environment? It is free to download in the download section…so you can confirm your predictions.

It is true that Mars had also a game over…I foresee that this one can give more trouble to bosses that mess with environment (Spite, Akash Buta, etc…). If they make you shuffle the deck it could mean a lot of trouble in here!. More things to look after! Kewl Kewl!
