You mean apart from the one on the top right of the page? 
Sure, the search function isn't the best (and Google is likely better in most cases) but it certainly exists.
Oh, that search option. I tried it. It says I have to enter key words or something like that.
I got in the habit of using google and forgot about it.
Each effect is its own thing and has to be paid for individually.
