That makes my sadness worse.
I've been away from the computer for a week with work - sorry for the delay. As promised, however, I'm posting some of S.I.E.V.E.'s discussions to show that the test games were not designed as pure practice runs or opportunities for a do-over, but rather part of a much larger strategic discussion regarding hero choices.
It begins:

Some Atlantis-specific strategy talk:

A plan to shut Dawn down:

And, finally, that nasty final round, with an example of how metlarturus used a sample game to verify the viability of a particular card interaction:

I'm not happy with the miscommunication or how the whole thing went down, and I wanted to clear the air about the specific circumstances we were dealing with and to reiterate that nobody intentionally cheated. No hard feelings, I hope?
To be honest I'm more bummed about missing out on the awesome message than I am about the contest.
Powerhound & Silverleaf - I fully intend to run a round of this post-Rook City release (although it may have to wait until late April or eaerly May so that my schedule has settled down a bit). If'n MigrantP approves, Mega-Computer access may be on the line again.
Our analysts have informed us that upon further review, all of the participants in this event are suitable candidates. Those involved should check their messages for a communication from Montgomery Industries.
Doesn't mean I won't run it again anyway. :)
Thanks MigrantP.
Not going to lie receiving the private message made my day.
That is awesome! Handelabra is awesome!
I don't mind running it again.
You're always taking on the hard work, and this way I take myself out of the running for any possible prizes. :)
Wow, this is fantastic! It's like we're all winners!
Thank you!!! :)
Hey! I didn't get anything!
I like this especially with what I just posted on the same post page about a certain game play style for tournament based.
Pydro you got the satisfaction of a job well done =)
Future events could have different prizes too!
Statisfaction, huh. That wasn't worth the effort.
