swaping roles

I don't really know where this may go and its kind of an odd question so I figured this would be the best place.  I was wondering if there was a villain that "acted" mechanically at least similar to any villain.  I don't care about their story lines, I just looking for the mechanics to be similar, I can't think of a example.... Maybe something like Unity with her golems and... any minion based villain..  I've played the game just a few times, enough to make that rough parallel but not enough to see any other BETTER parallels.  I hope someone can come up with something more substantial.  Thanks in advance.

The villains don't often have parallels (if any) to other villains. If you wanna draw parallels, all of the hero/villain nemesis pairings have plenty of parallels. We were talking about that on another topic, actually.

And that would be here.

Well, obviously all the villains "work" differently, in that they have different flip mechanics, and ways of going about the game.  The ultimate goal, however, is the same for most of them - to kill the heroes.  So some vague similarities aren't too hard to find, in that respect.

Ambuscade and Omnitron both employ devices to beat the heroes into submission, for instance.  Gloomweaver and Apostate use Relics.  Chairman, Gloomweaver, Voss and Dawn each make heavy use of minions of various types.  Plague Rat and Spite prefer to work alone.  Is that the kind of thing you were talking about?

ok heres my deal, I want to play a good guy character in a rpg game that I'll be playing now but will eventually turn evil in a later game.  So I need the two characters, one good guy and one bad guy to work somewhat accordingly.

ok, you said villain/villian but you meant hero/villain.   People were confused.

Tachyon plays similarly to Matriarch, Fanatic plays very similar to Apostate.   Those are the closest two, IMO.

You could just choose Legacy for both roles. The first from the timeline we know and the second from The Visionary's timeline.
