So im a little confused when it comes to uprising. is is going to just contain all of the stretch goal characters they reach, or is it going to have a preselected set of characters and the stretch goals just give us promo cards and figures for those characters.
It is the characters and extra's unlocked by stertch goals, and scenario's involving them.
Bsically all the unlocked characters aren't going into the core game, they will go into the expansion, and the more get unlocked, the bigger the expansion.
But not just unlocked stuff, you will get scenarios, which bring in their own stuff (like minions, or targets, stuff villains bring with them or attack in a scenario) and come with comic-style story.
So basivally the stretch goals are determining how awesome the first expansion is going to be, and we are getting that expansion for really cheap.
Hopefully we fil that box to the brim with unlocked awesomeness.
But then why are theres silhouettes of characters on the cover of uprising if there was a chance of them not even being in the expansion for example the second silhouette from the left looks dead on like Ambuscade but at the time there was no guantee they would reach that stretch goal?
We don't know that's Ambuscade; he doesn't look all that much like him to me. My bet would be that those are The Operative's minions, which we're getting either way.
I'd love to see the one in the middle be Hippocalypse. Operative with a beefy tank, yes please.
I too want MOAR HIPPOCALYPSE!
Hippocalypse is a much coller name than The Hippo, but is there more to this than that?
I believe it was the forum name given to the Hippo before his actual, less awesome name was known.
Despite the Universal clamouring for justice the >G crew refuse to make a Man in a Hippo Suit the focal point of their game.
I guess no one can be perfect.
But we can always hope.
