There are very few things in gaming that is worse than the dreaded Demonic Spider. These things in a nutshell are powerful enemies that are boss worthy but are in reality found amoung the common mook. And they tend to ruin the day of gamers should they get the chance.
So, in your experience, what are the most annoyingly lethal Mooks (i.e. not a character card) you've ever come across in Sentinels?
Glamour takes that spot for me. She will usually hit play and annoy the heck out of any character having a hard time making more than one hit a turn. I still consider her a mook cause she doesn't have a character card.
For me, it's Akash'Bhuta's brambles. The fact that they constantly tie up a character - usually the DPS hero - is really annoying

This. Also, whipacorns although whipacorns are easier to deal with.
But the brambles don't fight back.
But they prevent you from acting while the other limbs do fight back.
I hate to admit it but Cursed Acolyte. Suddenly appearing and burning all your team for -2 then another -2 damage sucks.
Somewhere the pantsless one cackles with glee.
Some things are better left unsaid.
As for me, Tamar. She always and only shows up at the worst times, usually involving ships.
Agreed – especially if there's some kind of damage boost out. Villains who hit you twice are always a pain.
Citizen Truth comes to mind since it means I have to take him out regardless of how many other Citizens are in the trash already. He gets worse is Citizen Anvil was already out.
Corrupted Effigy is also bad to encounter.

But for me, Citizen Truth, and GLoomweaver's worshippers with a lot of heroes.
The Dark Hero is a card that makes me groan everytime it comes out, even worse on Dreamers flip side.
Bubbles
Sure, all the other answers here are ok. But when the thing you dread most, more than deamons or serial killers or cosmic entities that can destroy entire universes, are bubbles...well...
But what if they're nice and comradely?
If there is a nice and comradely-esque bubble, i've never seen one.
Wait… are you talking about the Zealot and the Acolyte? or the bubbles. Or a combination?

I always thought that Omnitron's Electro-Pulse Explosive card caused more panic than the boss its self. You pretty much have to deal with it as soon as it comes up and ignore everything else or you die.
Yeah Electro-Pulse was my first thought too.
With the right cards though, you can really use it to your advantage.
