The World of Sentinel Comics: Branding

I guess this is a sequel. https://forums.greaterthangames.com/t/the-world-of-sentinel-comics-video-games/28522/2

Sentinel Comics was a publishing company for decades before the Southwest Sentinels were first published. This might seem odd, but it’s actually not unprecedented; those of us who can see between dimensions know that there’s a parallel universe in which Sentinel Comics have never existed at all. Indeed, in this other reality, the most profitable comics publisher which exists is Wonder Comics, whose market dominance was cemented in the late 2000s with the introduction of the Wonder Cinematic Universe. And yet, it was only in the late 1960s, more than two decades after the first Wonder Comics publication, that the company finally introduced a character named Captain Wonder. (Interestingly, this namesake was rebranded in the 2010s as the company’s flagship female character, leading to awkward comparisons with a rival company’s much more famously feminist “Woman Wonder.”)
