The Wraith's stealth power and redirecting damage

The thread is right here (the second version at least): https://greaterthangames.com/forum/topic/answers-to-debated-questions-3871

The problem of timing and static effects is particularly nasty with Superhuman and Fortitude, because the damage isn't affected by Legacy's reduction until it is being dealt to him, then both would suddenly apply.

At that point it seems like the reduction would both apply at the same time, which is where card order could come into play.

I really dislike that entire notion though.  Largely because of implications with Tempest's shielding winds.  Keeping track of card play order across a table with four or five players is not an enjoyable task, and crosses into too much bookkeeping territory.

I had a problem with Stealth and Shielding Winds lately, and never was able to find a certain answer, though in that case at least it was easy enough to figure out card order.  One advantage to a computerized version of SOTM would be the ability to timestamp every card in play order, making for easy codification of the rules (which almost read like a programming language already).  Assuming of course that >G ever sees any advantage in making a computer-playable version.

I've always thought of redirection being resolved by changing the target, and then acting as if the original attacker had targeted the new target and recalculate all damage, the bonuses and the reductions.
