Traffic Pileup

Forgive me if this has been asked before.

If Traffic Pileup is in play, but another card or Power allows a Hero to draw cards, which takes precedence?

Thanks.

Traffic Pileup does, as it entirely prohibits the drawing of Hero cards. The blanket statement of “Players cannot draw Hero cards” is absolute.

Awesome. Thank you for the prompt response.

I just took Tachyon and Visionary against Baron Blade, and that card pretty much shut them down. Glad it was the Environment that shut them down and not my mis-play.

Whew.

Note to self: No more Tachyon and Visionary Team ups in Megalopolis unless there are more heroes to help. Got it.

Yeah, two heroes is SUPER rough. We suggest in the Advanced Play segment near the end of the rulebook that, when playing two with two players, that at least one of the players control 2 heroes. Sentinels of the Multiverse is technically a 1 to 5 player game, but does best with 3-5 heroes.

Paul and I often play (and do much of the playtesting) by each controlling two heroes, and since hero turns are just play a card, use a power, draw a card, it goes very smoothly.

Yeah. I was trying to achieve that one story reward of defeating a villain with two heroes.

I will keep on trying, though. Failure is not an option!

Thanks again for this fun game. You guys rock.
