See the silhouettes on the rooftops of the Uprising box? Who are they?
What are they?
I'm expecting the Operative scenario's to introduce the gang she managed to round up. Might see an old Underboss or two with a few other familiar faces. Can't help but imagine Ambuscade is tied in there somehow. It's all very cool and I can't wait to see whats in store
5 of them...left to right...
1 Sort of a stealthy cat burglar/ninja vibe
2 Flexing figure
3 Super large muscle man
4 Lady in skirt
5 Mars Rover gone bad
Yeah, they might have blacked out the art for that just so we didn't know who it was at this point - they might fill it in later.
I have a gut feeling that the operative is going to go with an all-female crew.
From left to right, my best guesses are:
Far left: Ermine: We know she's adept at being a distraction, and is a highly skilled thief. We also know that she desperately wants to get back into the good life. Being a part of the Operative's new organization would give her back the veneer of respectability, and allow her to continue her rooftop running.
Mid left: someone with a truly amazonian phsyique. She is also standing at the operative's right hand, so my guess is that this woman is the Operative's muscle for when she can't be in two places at once.
Center: No idea.
Mid right: I'm thinking that this might be the mirror woman who battles setback.
Far right: I'm thinking that this might be Highbrow. We see her in a sort of command chair in Vengeance, and given how the operative was filled full of arrows on her incap, having somoen who is a nemesis of Parse might not be a bad idea...
Alt far right: another intriguing possibility is this is Miss Information. She's at her most danagerous behind the scenes, and functioning as the Operative's information coordinator could serve her own interests. One of parse's cards has Miss information in front of a broken cyclohexane vat, being covered in toxic goo- perhaps she now requires a life-support chair?
Knowing >G, an all female crew would not surprise me at all.
For the center, the only thing I think I see is the left hand is making a fist. That might be your "muscle" character. Just my guess.
I think the far right is La Paradoja Magnifica and its crew.
This is easily the best character concept since Devil Dinosaur.
I would actually guess that the one who looks like Ambuscade is Ambuscade, given the line about putting all the Stretch Goal types in one set. Of course, since the next Stretch Goal character is clearly Proletariat and none of the figures looks like him, I may be mistaken.
I do also suspect that the one on the left is Ermine.
I'll throw in a guess:
Far left: Ermine. The figure and hair just looks that way.
Mid left: That has been revealed as Ambuscade
Center: No clue, possibly a rebuilt Baron Blade suit? Otherwise I have heard speculation of an evil Haka or maybe Fright Train in another Bunker suit?
Mid right: The silohuette reminds me of Miss Information, so I'm going with that.
Far right: Again, just speculation for me, but could it be another form of Omnitron? It has gone through a couple and we don't really know what comes before X, so maybe Omnitron 5-9?
I also find it curious that The Oganization is shifting it's focus frm Rook City to Megalopolis...
Rather, that The Operative is. The box may say "The Organization," but Pike is gone, and I'd be shocked if even two of those enforcers were from the old Organization. With that soopah mysterious new bio, is Double Dragon Operative even still in it for money? I am comfortable not calling her outfit The Organization any longer.
It does say "from The Organization" on the cover, but the interrobang adds some question.
I would guess that with the Chairman gone The unknown parts of the organization would just stay unknown.
The Operative comes back and starts rounding up contacts and bringing the old gang back together again. It may not be exactly the same, but it will have a lot of similarities.
