Just got my copy yesterday, and it'll certainly see some play tonight at our New Years' Eve party!
Overall, I'm pretty pleased. While I'm not as a big a van of the Vengeance play-style as I am of normal SotM, I think that the additional variety that VotM brings will make Vengeance-style play a lot more appealing. Greazer's mechanics are pretty interesting, as are Sergeant Steel's, and I rather like how their unique elements trigger. Further, there are a lot more Ongoing and other similar cards that read "When this card enters play, X happens", somewhat combining the idea of a One-Shot with an Ongoing. It's a neat idea...
I've got to say, though, that my favorite part of the expansion thusfar might be the Environments. Vampire castle? Ancient ninja fortress? Twisted carnival? Oh yeah...that's right up my alley!
Oh, and there's no preview for the (presumably) final SotM expansion. No art, no mention, nothing.
If I recall correctly PlatinumWarlock is in Ohio. I also live in Ohio and haven't gotten a shipping notice from GtG and/or FedEx so I'm even more jealous.
Think we r just going to see random pop ups of people who get it for next week. Especially since St. Louis is flooding and causing a mess for shipping.
I adore that Vampire Castle. I can't wait to play it with art and theme text, and if you struggle with those Filter Agents remember there are some Inmates in the Block who would love to give you a hand.
I did not buy the oversized pack, due to never using the ones I had bought previously. So I am not going to get the Infinitor or Kismet promos until they are released as standard cards.
That depends if you got the oversized cards or not. The way they put it, the orders with oversized cards are coming out a tad bit later than the ones with just Villains

I got my notification from FedEx, as I have an account through them, specifically to get notifications if something's heading my way.
I did not, however, get the Oversized Villain cards, nor did I get the Kismet and Infinitor variants. I did get the Scholar/Naturalist/C-R/Sentinels set of variants.
Unfortunately, I haven't actually had a chance to play VotM yet. Was hoping to get a game in before our NYE party last night, but I was busy finishing the cherry-merlot sauce to go with my leg of lamb. Alack, alack!
Can people please start to post spoilers! I haven't got any notifications so looks like I am still a week away at they very least. Kind of bummed that my kids had 2 weeks off school and we didn't have new sentinels stuff to play. On the bright side if you haven't played "Smash Up" I recommend it. We have been playing it and it is pretty darn fun. We ended up buying all the expansions. Unfortunately school starts back up on Monday so we won't have nearly as much time to play Villians as I would want. Oh well, I will probably just end up holding off opening it and give it to my Son on his birthday in April instead. Hmmmm. Somehow this has turned into a stream of consciousness post. I blame staying up too late celebrating the new year last night. Anyway spoilers please!
I noticed I didn't get a new Sentinels group character card. I have each member, but as the group I did not. I'll keep looking around, but does this mean the Sentinels do not have new Incap powers?
