My money’s on it being a new hero, a zombie hunter named Jake Gutblaster. He is also apparently, a drug addict who lost his nose and most of his face to the effects of whatever drug is in those syringes.
Are you serious?! Fix that button before more similar things happen in the future!

Spiff - I doubt he is a drug addict, he looks super healthy… unless of course he takes health drugs of some sort (like the gritty urban version of health potions!).
He does appear to have the same random innocent bystander hanging around him as Fanatic in Final Dive.
He’d look even healthier with better defined abs. Ra and Haka are nice and all, but some us us like our men a little more supple. Just sayin’ 0:)
Well, he’s wearing a shirt, so that’d be pretty damn well-defined. Also, this is concept art. In the final version, he has ONE MILLION MUSCLES.

I was thinking the samething as dkartzinel said. But with one other hero going to be announced, who knows if he will be him or not.
Edit: I just noticed the corpses drained of all life forces News up top. And considering the guy who he is holding looks as to have no eyes, may have been drained of his life force, so maybe he is actually the other villian?
I’m thinking he’s the villainous Jack Donovan, who is either an escaped murderer or an undead murderer, as I said in the PR thread.
I think he heals himself by wounding others, and is either full of straight-up damaging cards, a la an evil Ra, or he has lots of minions he can kill to heal himself.
And it looks like he’s wearing a mask, rather than just not having facial features. You can see the rest of his face peeking out behind it, like it’s a Phantom of the Opera half-face mask?
Not sure what the deal is with those syringes. PR’s the drug dealer!
He doesn’t look nice. Maybe a villan, since the known heroes dont really contain any anti-heroes. Unless gtg is changing that, which is possible.

I would go with anti-hero, except that he’s got a dead(?) guy in his hand and has apparently been killing people in downtown Rook City.
I’m so, so sorry to make yet another reference, but…
Corpses drained of all life force? Looks like one of the villains is going to be Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat.

Whoever he is, maybe those syringes are what gives him his powers. Think of Bradley Cooper in Limitless. Or maybe those are what he uses to drain people’s “life force”, which he then heals himself with. Maybe he’s dying and those are the only things keeping him alive. He’s not a villain, he’s just misunderstood!
But I don’t think he’s going to be Dawn’s nemesis. Through some serious investigation and really specific deduction, my friend and I have determined that he’s a villain. Mainly we looked at Adam’s list of hypothetical voice actors, crossed out the female slots, crossed out Plague Rat, crossed out the villain duo, leaving us with only two slots: one hero and one villain. Finally, we just said “He’s holding a dead body. He looks mean. He’s a villain.” So yeah, detective skills all over the place right there. He’s another villain.
And you know that villain duo we just mentioned? I said this in some other thread (and so did a few others), that Tachyon’s flipped side has an ice man and a tornado woman in the background. On Adam’s voice actor list, there was a man and a woman in the same villain slot. So, ladies and gentlemen, we can expect to see Tachyon’s nemeses in Rook City.
If I get all of these right, you all owe me $5.

Jack Donovan! That was what his name was. It’s a shame that the expansion won’t come out for about another year, I was kind of looking foward to it. Now all the questions will have to wait to be answered. So no one call a plumber to fix these “leaks” because these will definately be entertainment until it the release date.
but to this guy though. I think the only definate bet is that he is in fact a villian. And with everything the news feed has said before his reveal most likely means that he is certainly Jack Donovan.
A year? No no, only 5 or 6 months, really.

5 or 6 months? That’s not so bad. I can dig it. Though I may still be preoccupied with fighting dragons. With the new Elder Scrolls game coming out in a little over a month, everything else in my life will cease to exist until I’ve played and explored every corner of that game.
So we’ve seen all the characters but the ice and storm duo (still to be confirmed) revealed and nobody looks anything like this sketch. Could this just be a minion of The Chairman or maybe an element of one of the environments. A gang leader or something who is part of the Rook City environment? I just backed the kickstarter and am excited to discover such and active community around this game. I don’t yet have the base game but can’t wait to give it a try.
