What is the Visionary Hiding?

Previously we knew that the Aeon men existed, but we did not know their significance. We now know that they are part of a force that fights for the ultimate Villian. Looking back through the cards it turns out that the Visionary has fought the Aeon Men before as can be clearly seen in the art for Cerebral Hemorrhage. Based on the fact that she teleported away during a pitch battle with a Scion it is clear that she knows something about the ultimate challenge that the other heroes do not. Where was she going? Is she linked to OblivAeon in some other way from some other time? Any theories from those more versed in Sentinels lore than me?

We don't actually know she's fought them before -- on that card, she's in sillouette, so for all we know that's the Dark Visionary.

That said, I was just looking at the Time-Crazed Prisoner, and one of the scrawls says, "The child is the center." That might be a hint toward it.

It's possible that her card is meant to represent a scene very late in the story.  I feel like she'd tell the heroes if she knew substantial details about such a dire threat.

Possibly, but why did she teleport away? I got the feeling that she wasn't running away, but going to do something based on previous knowledge.

She isn't the only hero to show off a villain not encountered in the game until much later.   Biomancer was seen on Sucker Punch long before we had any idea who he was.   The Aeon men have also been seen in Argent Adept, Sky-Scraper, Omnitron-X, and KNYFE's deck.

Wait, just so I'm clear, are the "Aeon Men" those Orange Robot blokes that are also on OmniX's Defensive Blast?

Yes

Ah, right, thanks.

Well, I suppose it depends on whether Dark Visionary teleported away because she knew somethign about OblivAeon, such has from her time traveling shenaningans (after all, she traveld time in the first place, and picked up Dark Visionary along the way), or she simply left for self-preservation reasons.

The simplest answer is just that Dark Visionary left because her greatest tool for success (Legacy) was defeated. Dark Visionary is a rather cruel mistress, willing to go pretty far to get done what needs to be done. I'd guess that if her mission of the moment seems impossible through whatever means, she'd leave it for later, under different and better circumstances, the other heroes be damned.

Can you remind me where Visionary did this teleporting?

Dark Visionary's Bio states "Dark Visionary fights alongside the Sentinels of the Multiverse… for now…" and the original Visionary's Bio tells us "An inter-dimensional hitchhiker, another version of Vanessa who had made very, very different choices, now occupies a corner of her psyche"

In the image from the ARG called Scion's Aid the original Visionary is depicted instead of Dark Visionary.  My thought is in between when Dark Visionary teleported  away and the discussion with the Scion, Dark Visionary turned against the heros and the event from her tactics bio where "she was aided in clearing this dark aspect from her psyche, leaving her drained, but in complete control" occured.  Of course, I'm making a lot of assumptions so this could be dead wrong.

i did not notice but you are right she appears to be regular Visionary again in greaterthangames.com/scionsaid

Ooh! I like Dandolo's theory with this one. Dark Visionary finally being put down just when the world is entering what might be it's final climax, and giving Visionary another chance at saving at least one reality.
