What rules/wording did you discover way later than you should have?

I recenty discovered that The Scholar's Forms are not Limited.

I also recently found out that Unity's golems specify that they cannot be played during her play phase, meaning team members like Omnitron-X and Argent Adept can be amazing at getting her rolling.

And just yesterday, going through Chrono Ranger's deck, I noticed that the Bounty Card with Plague Rat on it (forget the name) let's Jim use a Power whenever the target the bounty is attached to attacks.  I have no idea how I missed that for so long.

What rules or specific card text have you discovered lately that make you say "Well...that would have made all those earlier games a helluva lot easier" ?

Not the same thing, but similar:

You might want to take a stroll through my FAQ. In it you'll find little tips just like those.

One of mine was on Divine Focus; when I figured out that it worked at the beginning of EVERY turn and not just every FANATIC turn, it made a lot more sense as to why it had the (previously thought to be) RIDICULOUS 4 damage cost on it.

This is only half on-topic because it pertains to art rather than gameplay, but I just noticed for the first time where exactly the pupil of Wraith's right eye (on the left side of her face as we see it) is in the picture for Grappling Hook.  I always saw this picture as showing her looking kinda googley-eyed or cross-eyed, because I thought the dark shadow in the lower-right corner of the eye was her pupil; instead, it's her nose, and the pupil is red-tinged from backlighting and visible at the upper-left edge of the eye, making it look like she's sighting a far-distant object with intention to grapple-hook it.  This obviously makes much more sense than my previous interpretation, but makes the card as a whole somewhat less hilarious to me.

Those words are so easy to miss and yet can completely change the card.

For instance, I thought Ra's Imbued Fire (I think that's the name) changed everyone's damage type to Fire, not just the heroes.  So for a while I was thinking, "Why would I ever play this card?  It gives everyone, villains included a +1 damage buff.  Maybe if I wanted the game over faster?"

I have often wished that was exactly how the card worked.  Would make a heck of a combo with Flesh of the Sun God, and there's something fittingly godlike about the result.

Ah I suppose that would be ridiculous for Ra.  I rarely get to use Flesh of the Sun God unless teamed up with Visionary or fighting in Insula Primalis.

Just today me and my cousin realized that Fixer's Driving Mantis can only redirect once per turn. Explains why he's seemed like such a beast while my cousin was playing him, he won against normal spite almost single-handedly by redirecting everything.

The funny thing is, I think when I was playing him in my solo games I only redirected once, but when my cousin was playing I somehow missed the rules botch

When I first started playing Wraith, I would play her Utility Belt, Razor Ordinance and Micro Targeting Computer.  Then I would use her Razor Ordinance twice to do 10 damage to the villain.
