What Shattered Timelines Hero/Villain/Enviro are waiting to try first?

So based on Shattered Timelines preview information we know that ....

Heroes: Omnitron-X, Chrono-Ranger

Villains: Iron legacy, Dreamer, La Capitan, Kismet

Environments: Time Cataclysm, The Block

(not counting miniexpansions or promotionals)

With that said, with Shattered Timelines being sent out over the next few weeks ...

I do not doubt that they will all be fun and will all get played by me very quickly... but which hero are you looking to try first? which villain first? which environment first?

it can be for reasons for mechanics or story or whatever...

personally?  as said i will quickly try them all out, but i think the ones i'm looking forward to trying first are omnitron-x, dreamer, and the block.  the reason for those choices is purely personal preference (for hero, the story for omnitron-x appeals to me more; for villain it sounds like a different game mechanic to try; and for environment just curious to see how they did it)

Chrono-Ranger (only because my roommate called omni first.) Dreamer (again, the new mechanic looks fun) in the time cataclysm.

Well, I've promised to not read through Miss Information before playing her for the first time, but I do think she's my most anticipated antagonist. But, no matter, as she is a mini-expansion and thus not technically a part of Shattered Timelines.

I'd go with Dreamer (Visionary is one of my favourite characters and I am very excited to see her story continue, especially in such interesting mechanics), Chrono-Ranger (while I don't think much of him as a character, I know we'll get along swimmingly mechanicaly, which is far more important in the long run), and Time Cataclysm (mostly to see what is there, really).

I can safely and happily say that I don't see any portion of this expansion sitting in the box forever being talked about more than actually played, very much unlike Her Avian Majesty or a certain grafitti-specked city.

Sorry, I'm including the mini-expansions because I'm so excited about all of it.

I feel that very little has been released about Miss Information. The mystery is impossible to ignore. I agree on no reading through her deck before playing her. That would wreck the mystery. (If I have to pick a ST villain it'd be the Dreamer since we'll be rescuing her. Rescuing victims from Spite isn't always satisfying.)

The Scholar looks fun, but I have to know how what pieces of the old Omnitron are in Omnitron-X's deck. If it puts out hero target drones it could rival Unity as my favorite hero.

Is the Time Cataclysm a collection of old environment cards? Which ones? (That was a rhetorical question. Don't spoil my surprise.)

Miss Information definitely sounds pretty awesome to play. Having the Freedom Five against would just be great thematically.

Actually Dreamer sounds interesting and part where you're saving the Villan definitely sounds good.

Iron Legacy against Freedom Six also seems really fun just for the heck of it.

My first game when I get Shattered Timelines will probably be using Omnitron-X, Chrono Ranger, and Scholar against Kismet in the Block.

Too excited to get my hands on the game though. I'll jump for nurse Joy when I get it!

I'm most looking forward to the Final Wasteland, actually, but only because it is the one deck I never got around to trying during playtesting. I'm also quite curious to try Kizmet with some of the changes that were made later in playtesting that I never got to try out.

Beyond that, I am most excited for La Capitan and the Time Cataclysm. I'm also looking forward to The Block and Silver Gulch. The environment decks have really surprised me by being in the forefront of what I've enjoyed about this expansion and mini-exansions.

That is a great thing to hear, about environments being in the fore. Most people I play with (that have played the game quite a bit) have opinions on which heroes or villains to use, but when it comes to environments, the response is usually 'Not Rook City' or 'Whatever'. It would be fantastic to bring out some favourites when it comes to environments, too.

I'm excited to play the Dreamer and the Scholar, and to be able to allow players to finally really use Chrono-Ranger and Omnitron-X.

I think I'll have a lot of fun with La Capitan fights, as well.

Based on the rules, I have to say Omnitron-X, Dreamer, Time Cataclysm.

Although to be honest Miss Information is the single deck I am the most excited about. I think her theme is rad, and I can't wait to see how she plays.

I'm most excited about Miss Information and The Dreamer, but I get the feeling that Kismet and La Capitan will hit the table earlier; I'll only be getting the base game when ST comes, and with all my players not yet knowing what SotM is I'll probably try and break them in a bit before trying out the more unconventional villains.

Just finished a game against Miss Information, via the G+ Hangouts, she was who I was most interested in going up against... and I wasn't disappointed; Awesome fun!

Thank you Ronway for running the Villain deck

Kismet! Either we'll win or I'll beat everyone else! XD

That aside, I want to fight Iron Legacy, because I never got around to playesting his final version.

All the villains are pretty unusual this time around! Most "conventional" is probably La Capitán, in that she's a big boss with a bunch of underlings to fight. That's actually the level of detail needed to differenciate the ST villains from each other! It's great.

Chrono-Ranger is my most anticipated within ST, The Scholar if we're counting mini expansions, and the Argent Adept if we're including all the heroes I will now have access to.

Oh, and BlueHairedMeerkat, from my experience Kismet is a bit tricky for new players. Her specialty is making everyone's decisions more difficult and offering extra ways to plan ahead, which can be daunting. The Dreamer will be easier( I think) for new people to grasp; there's things to fight and one thing you protect, but everybody usually has something to do.

It's interesting how Miss Information went from the least excited Villan when she was the assistant to the most excited based on how she was released. Gotta say >G did a good job at advertising her.

I always thought she was the most interesting, the traitor from within is something I adore.

However, people are far more ready to complain/share disappointment at something they dislike than they are to say they are looking forward to something. For example I have not said the hero I am most looking forward to is Chrono-Ranger, I have been looking forward to him since Rook City's soft reveal... but I have said nothing on these forums.

I just really like Chrono-Rangers look. Like Roland Deschain from the Gunslinger crossed with Cable from the X-Men. Looking forward to putting him and Omnitron X on the table immediately. Maybe beat on Baron Blade or Omnitron just to get them warmed up.

Yeah, I defended her vehemently when her art was first revealed with the Assistant name. The idea of somebody completely innocuous-looking being the villain is attractive to me.

I agree that >G did a great job of turning around Miss Information. When she was first revealed, she was just The Assistant (weaksauce), with almost no supporting info to give you an idea of why she'd be interesting (she sounded to me like a villain who gets you by bringing you coffee that's too hot). But when they revealed the name change to Miss Information they also gave us more of her saboteur flavor so that we could form a better picture of why she'd be awesome to fight.  I'm now looking forward to playing her in a way I didn't anticipate when I first heard about her.

The environment I'm most excited about is the Time Cataclysm. There is a card in that deck that seems to be forshadowing a future environment that takes place in Baron Blade's lair. Also Mister Fixer has a small chance of playing multiple tools and styles at once when a certain card comes up.
