Which of The Sentinels cards count towards most cards in play?

I was playing The Sentinels against The Dreamer when Projected Paralysis came out.  Since that card targets "The player with the most cards in play" we had to stop the game for a bit to figure out which of The Sentinels cards count toward cards in play.

Ignoring things like ongoings, Is it:

The "Sentinels" team card + All four hero cards?

The "Sentinels" team card + only the active hero cards?

All four hero cards?

Only the active hero cards?

We decided that all four hero cards counted towards cards in play, regardless of whether they were active or incapped, but that the team card didn't.  Was that correct or should we have done that differently.

[I tried to search the forum for a ruling on this, but it's hard to use Sentinels as a search term.]

It's all five cards.  The Sentinels have five cards in play.  It's been discussed before, but I don't remember where.

EDIT: It's also in Spiff's Rule Clarifications, which in turn links to this post.

So the Setup card does count as a card in play. Weird, but ok.

And thanks for the pointer, that thread helps clarify a bunch of my Sentinels questions.
