XXVZ's definitive question and answer thread

I recently got IR/RC and I have a few questions:

1) This is one I've had for a while now: If, for example, Kismet plays karmic disjunction and she reveals unlucky break, would it be played? It says "put any revealed jinx cards into play" but unlucky break is a one-shot, so can it be "put into play"?

2) who's the guys on Scherzo of Frost and Flame/Incendiary Rounds/Quick Draw/Hollow Points/Tactical Shotgun/Hollow Points/Pipe Wrench/Grease Gun/DWFixer's uncap/Call Forth/Mists of Time(bottom left)/Heedless Lash? (I know most of these are unknown, but if anyone knows any of them, I'd be thankful if they shared)

More will probably be coming.

1. Yes, One-shots can be put into play.

2. I think their all still unknown.

Hollow Points is on there twice. And yeah... all of those are firmly in the "not known by the general public" category. I mean, I'm sure at least 3 people know who they are, but they probably won't tell.

(I'm talking about Christopher, Paul, and Adam. In case that was too subtle.)

Goinf from memory, Scherzo has Gloomy, Quick Draw has Tony Taurus, Tactical Shotgun might be a FILTER agent, Call Forth has only Nightmist, I thought (with her various relics being summoned in, similar to the Adept's Instrumental Conjuration), and the rest I either can't remember (don't have the cards to hand in order to check) or they're still unknown (eg Hollow Points).

Skull is a bit different.

Quick Draw has Tony Taurus
Not so sure about that, the most different thing I can tell is Quick Draw has a blinde character, while Tony has black hair.

Call Forth has only Nightmist,
There is a crazy looking swamp monster on it.

The guy on Quick Draw has a police badge, Tony Taurus is a P.I.

No, it has a green swamp monster thing in the background.

Thanks, that's useful to know

The ones I have always wanted to know is the tiny brain guys on Unload and Punish the Weak, and the Question mark guy on Coolant Blast (at least it looks like a question mark).

Gene-bound Soldiers are on Punish the Weak. Proletariat is the guy n Coolant Blast, and it's a sickle, not a question mark.

The black suit with the glowing yellow thing on his chest, he doesn't look like the others.

That's just one of Proletariat's clones farther back in the distance, as there isn't as much light. The yellow on the face and chest are the same as those on the others.

Hollow points, Incidinary Rounds, Pipe Wrench, Call Forth, Mists of Time, Headless Lash, Frost and Flame … are unknown as of this moment in time. Heh.

Quick Draw - Is most certainly NOT tony Taurus. Tony is black haired brown eyed PI, QD is a blond haired blue eyed Detective. QD is (in my opinion) Expats mentor.

Tactical Shotgun is /likely/ a Blade Battalion member - green glowy eyes, but with a gun instead of a shock stick I'm not so certain. Could also be Ambuscade, but hard to tell

Mists of Time (Bottom Left) I believe is Voss - shoulder spikes and his chisled chin, in statue form

Another one:

3) Why are Kismet and setback nemesises?

Because.

One always bets on Red, the other on Black.

No one bets on white

Lucky and Unlucky.

Other than that we have no idea. heh.

Way to go into detail Greywind  :slightly_smiling_face:

4) Can Legacy and Wraith become invincible with Lead from the Front and Smoke Bombs?

No, you cannot apply the same effect from the same card more than once. You can apply 2 different -1 damage effects (e.g. Smoke Bombs and Fortitude) but you cannot apply 2 Smoke Bomb -1s.

Can I recommend Spiffs excellent Rules & Clarifications document?

Yeah, figures.

I was pretty sure that it was wrong, but I still did it against Matriarch in final wasteland and did 160 damage.
