A Survival Guide to Pike Industrial Complex

Pike Industrial Complex

Here's some pointers on surviving this dangerous place.

  • Types of Cards: Rats and Vats
  • Number of target cards: 4 rats
  • The Vats build up until a vat explosion occurs dealing damage per vat destroyed plus three.
  • The snowball of the vats is stealthy & deadly. If a regen vat stays out, you may not even care if some cryogenic vats come out... Until an irradiated vat appears. Stuff of nightmares right there.
  • Dificulty rank - 3 (According to the wiki)

 Villains with this environment

  • Thematically Plague Rat works well with this environment His toxic mitigation makes the Pike Industrial vats a warm bath to him, & his many separate instances of damage run away with the damage increase.

Heros with this environment

  • The Irradiated cyclohexane vat:  increases all damage dealt the boost is helpful to all heros, especially those that deal one and those that deal one and one. On the other hand it changes all damage to toxic and this can mess up several heroes. Wraith, Absolute Zero, Ra.
  • Heroes that reduce environment damage are essential here. (Wraith, Visionary)

Anything I should add? Tips thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks for the help!

Anything the changes damage type can screw over a ton of heroes, & the toxic vat is no exception. Absolute Zero is fried, Ra's Solar Flare fizzles out, Wraith loses her targeting capabilities, etc.

This environment is Plague Rat's element. His toxic mitigation makes the Pike Industrial vats a warm bath to him, & his many separate instances of damage run away with the damage increase.

Also, since much of Plague Rat's damage is Irreducible, he hits hard even through a Regen vat.

When fighting villains with many minions, Rats can be your friend in the early game.

Since this environment does a lot of small potshots, cards that reduce the environment damage (such as Mega Computer or MAss Levitation) work really well. GI bunker also works pretty nicley with this environment because if the villian has any DR, or the environment reduces damage in anyway, you can keep heros safe from the environment while assuring the villian still gets hit.

The cycohexline vat also works terribly with heros like Absolute zero, because all of his attacks rely on damage being a certain type. If it gets changed to toxic, he can no longer use any of said attackes

Did a game earlier with the DR vats and G.I Bunker. Damage dealt by Voss and his minions was decreased by 2, While Voss took all the damage.

Thanks for the tips! Updated it.
