Manta has prominent ears, and no overhanging nose piece to speak of. The yellow guy has a very smooth head, and a large nose (or nosepiece). It looks like he is wearing a mask that comes over his eyes and nose, with a large beaky looking bit overhanging his (or her) lips, slanted forward and down.

I wonder if you can play with a mix of the Sentinels promo cards and their originals, or if you have to swap out all of them. Very excited for a Chrono promo!

I'm excited for the new promo villains. There are 23 villain decks in existence. Add in the Operative and the 4 known promos (Blade, Omnitron, Spite, and GloomWeaver) and you get 28. With the new blister pack villain as another that gets us to 29, so those two new villain promos Christopher mentions in the link are not promo Gloomy and Spite but two brand spanking new promos we haven't seen with a small card. Who those could be is going to be verrrrry interesting.
EDIT: dshields, you forgot the Operative who has her own character cards and so is likely to get the oversized treatment and the bonus villain who is in a blister pack rather than part of VotM.
Now I'm kind of annoyed I didn't include the oversized villain cards in my pre-order. I wonder if they would let me change it or if I have to pay for shipping again :/

The art is such a tease, but it all looks very solid.

This expansion for Sentinels of the Multiverse adds ten Vengeance-style Villains and two Environments.For every copy of Villains of the Multiverse you order, you will also receive three art prints, a set of 7 promo cards, a villain mini-expansion, and an environment mini-expansion!
There are 28 so far, including the character cards for the Ennead and the Operative. That leaves one for the mini-expansion, and 2 for the new promo villains.
Also, is it just me or does Writhe look like a solid black Guise now?
I think that all bald faceless people tend to look similar. Dr. Medico looks basically the same as well, except he has a mask.
Medico had a mask before (didn't he?), but I think it might've been black rather than green.
