All the Sentinels have green in the preview artwork. Though Writhe is the only one where the green shows up as more of an accent. Wonder why they went with Green as their team color. I can't wait for more backstory on the new promos
The Prime Wardens have a monopoly on all the other colours.
Because they are the newest team. They are "green"
Perhaps that's old news, but I'm intrigued by the fact that 2 existing villains of Sentinel Tactics will join For Profit, with new character panels...
Ambuscade seems like an obvious candidate, since he already worked with the Slaughterhouse Six (including Mirror lady), and needs money to back his costly hobby. The other will surely be Proletariat, though seeing a hero of the people join a profit-oriented group would make me a sad panda. Can't wait for tomorrow's update...
I'm 100% with you. Ambuscade and Pro are the most likely choices. I would say Operative, but I think she is too busy trying to run her own criminal syndicate to be a part of yet another group. And we already know Ambuscade and Pro are known to sell their services.
i was wondering if anyone thought that the smoke and mirrors character from the slaughterhouse six in adam's picture kinda looks like nightmist with red hair and red smoke......
Okay the front of For Profit has 4 characters on it.
The original box had 9 characters, and Uprising had 6.
I can't imagine them going with a villain team of 6 characters, and I don't think they'd show those 4 like that is they weren't all chracters.
So is For Profit a villain heavy expansion? 2 heroes and a team of 6 villains?
We already know 4 of the heroes in Broken City and at least 1 villain.
Obviously we don't have long to wait, but I will be sad if we get a new panel for Ambuscade, He loses his powers and becomes a major player? That just seems wierd.
It would also be wierd for the first two promo panels to be non-major players in the storyline.
I was hoping for some of the underbosses to develop into their own decks, but they would need far more than Character Panels.
I will be very sad if Proletariat becomes a greedy capitalist criminal. That would be really sad and a terrible way to develop a character.
His character in Tactics he's become a man whose Ideals are out of touch with the world, and is both hero and villain as he fights whatever oppression of the pople he finds.
That is freaking awesome, to go from that to fighting for money needs one hell of a story behind it or it is just bad. I don't see that story happening between two mini-expansions. You'd need some distance.
My secret, incredibly unlikely hope is that one is Maia. Maybe she doesn't have the money to maintain the Freedom V the way the others spend money, and Legacy probably doesn't charge for saving the world. Her heading up a team on the side just for funding, justifying it to herself that the FV is far more important than the harm her side project causes.
That would be awesome.
I think it is, yes. As a note, Adam did say either here or on Twitter that For Profit kinda changes up the normal hero/villain dynamic we are used to in a significant way. That response from him is starting to get a little more context.
So maybe For Profit is a team that can be either. That would be cool.
As for Pro and capitalism. We have seen that he is willing to do work for cash in Uprising. But what wouldn't surprise me is Pro having a lot of friction between other members of For Profit gang. Imagine if someone tries to pull a "Im the leader so I get a bigger share of the profit" card. You think the communist is going to agree with that? I imagine we will see a bunch of infighting between the villains of this set. That would make sense in context of Adams comments about it.
How many shares does Pro get?
As many as his clones can carry.
The shadowy figure tells Proletariat it has been a highly equitable business transaction, but what that transaction is isn't described.
Proletariat doesn't seem to be in it for money, he delivers the shards "as demanded" and then states he is always ready to work.
Whatever is going on there, I seriously doubt he is a mercenary in that interaction. It doesn't fit his bio for tactics, or the way he acts.
wondering if we will get any hero decks in the villians set. Would be nice especially if preorders hit a certain amount. They are on track to easily be over 5000 this time around.
Edit: nevermind i cant read when it says currently the count is around 1700
Update

This is the coming of the Hippocalypse.
But really, I like the idea of For Profit being the "protagonists" of the expansion. I feel like I'll be rooting for these guys more than the heroes. They seem like really cool villains.
Now that is true fan service
The Uprising expansion had six characters in the box. Is the promo verions of Ambuscade and Operative there in place of two other characters?
Also, I can see the Hippocalypse being auto banned In the tourneys. Just too much awesome coming from that.
HIPPOCALYPS !!!!!!!!!!
Beck Blast seems to be new. I wonder if she will show up in the FILTER deck in VotM with Sgt. Steel and other members of their strike force?
Glamour. We finally have a name for our villain. The bio makes it sound as if there have been many different people that took up the Glamour title, as this is the "lastet" Glamour. I'm surprised the bio didn't mention her working for Ambuscade in the past, but that might be because it was a different Glamour than the one in For Profit.
I wonder if we will see Heartbreaker in SotM somewhere. Being an assasin and being shown stabbing Fixer, maybe he will show up in the Operatives VotM deck?
Ambuscade is said to have worked against other villains in the past. I would like to know more about that angle of his character and which villains he has gone up against.
Should I start the hype train for an Operative/Ambuscade villainship?
Oddities: Doesn't it seem weird that Operative (being one of the best assasins we have seen) is working with Heartbreaker? Becky Blast is an explosives expert while Ambuscade has a ton of experience in that department already. What do Heartbreaker and Becky Blast bring to the table that Ambuscade and Operative can't?
Becky Blast will clearly bring the sass that Ambuscade lacks.
I really like this new team. Of course, I'm always a fan of more canonical teams, so that way we can have more team vs matches in Tactics. Can't wait to pit Dark Watch vs. For Profit (minus Am & Op) and see who's better.
Ambuscade probably tried to hunt Deadline at some point, seeing as he's a new, alien life form. I could see Ambuscade being interested in hunting the last of a certain species.
