If Baron Blade had 2 Ongoing effects in play before he was taken to 0 HP on his first side, when flipped, does he lose those Ongoing cards, or keep them?
He keeps everything that's in play. The only card-related changes you make are to put all MDPs into the trash pile, removing every other card from the trash and shuffling it back into the deck.
Darn...he was so much easier to defeat without them...haha
Lol what was it, Backlash Fields? Those are nasty (I think he has two in total). The Living Forcefields can be annoying if you only have low-damage heroes (such as Tachyon).
Worst card for me, though, has to be Devious Disruption. Yeah it's a one-shot rather than an ongoing but that card has been the cause of more of our defeats than probably anything else in Blade's deck. The amount of times we've had it come up thrice in a game is ridiculous - there are only two copies, but on more than one occasion we've had both in the trash when Blade has flipped, meaning they get shuffled back into the deck for one of them to come out shortly afterwards and finish us off (or near enough that something else can then finish the job). We've had Blade flip and then take no damage before we all die horribly as well...more than once :P.
I've destroyed Baron with an MDP in play, thanks to Sucker Punch. That way he keeps it in play when he flips.
No he doesn't, you put all copies in the trash, even if they're currently in play… though they are probably 'safe' from that effect if they are under Savage Mana as then they currently aren't called "Mobile Defense Platform".
But that would break Blade's brain as his instructions say to put 3 copies in his trash and there aren't currently 3 copies in the game. I think the official ruling would be to go and buy a second copy of the game so you can put a 3rd copy in the trash.
That would be a fun ruling, "To sort out this problem, give us your money", isn't that MMO mentality?

There is precedent for them being taken out of Savage Mana with the promo Spite Drug cards don't have text but are still drug cards for the purpose of flipping them upright thing.

Would there then be a similar issue if the Final Wasteland has permanently eaten any of the MDPs? Then they're not even beneath another card - they're removed from the game entirely. Maybe Blade's character card would just implode from some kind of paradox...implosion...thing...and you'd win automatically :D.
